People have tried to set up private trusts to take the money. I would try to do this but have heard others can somehow sue to get the information. Maybe get my lawyer to collect it for me under contract.

I would buy a sick beach house for sure. . If I liked baseball more I would buy a minor league team. Maybe get a minority stake in the Panthers.

I'm investing a solid $200M though and living off the interest. Probably half of it in securities which would net me $50k per month and the rest in all sorts of things to get a diversified portfolio.

I can have fun on $50k to $100k a month.

Bought 40 tickets today

First I'd go down to my bosses office and leave a steaming pile right on the middle of his desk calendar.

Second I'd hit up Liberty Street in Winston-Salem and find a group of folks standing on the corner and sign the deed on my house over to them. (And my neighbors say I don't have a sense of humor.)

Third, I'd have that overdue transmission work done on my wifes 8 year old van.

After that, who knows.......

Most likely, I'd buy a lot of land... build a good energy independent, reinforced, well stocked, and secured home on it... live mostly off the grid the rest of my life...

That'd cover at least probably a couple million... I don't want a mansion or anything crazy like that...

I also have quite a few people that I'd give various sums of money to... Just because I could... Friends... Random people...

That'd cover a good 20 million...

I'd pay of any and all debts of my parents (they don't really have any anyways), my sister and her husband, my step mom, and anyone else in my immediate family. Even some of my extended family maybe...

That wouldn't even be a million...

I'd probably give a good chunk to the church that I grew up in... I'm not religious at all, even anti-religion most of the time, but I feel like they would find good uses for it for our community.

That'd probably be another million...

Then I'd start some sort of community aid foundation of my own... Maybe similar to Good Will or the Salvation Army... Something to help out those that are down on their luck or just want to add to their used jersey collection... Or even a soup kitchen or something like that...

Probably talking at least 25 million to start off with...

I'd deposit at least $50k in at least 20 different bank chains...

at least 1 million here...

I'd hire Jase and/or pstall to help me invest a couple million dollars... and give them each a good retention salary...

at least 5 million here...

...

only around 55 million down... at least another 200 to go...

    • Never, and it doesn't have to be an old grizzled vet, sometimes a vet can learn something from a young player too.   Do you not see players talking to each other between plays, quarters, on the bench, wherever, in EVERY sport? It's what players do, especially the great ones, they're always working on their craft and learning tips from others to better themselves.   So when your entire receiving room outside of one player, who has mostly played special teams in his career, has played 1 season or less in the NFL, it's not a lot of experience there in the locker room and on the sideline and is a tad concerning in regards to the proper growth of all these young WRs with great potential.
    • So me "putting my foot down" would be me spending more money each season to watch the games without sound at the bar? Do you not see how dumb that sounds? Streaming a game here or there isn't tough, but doing it for 17 games a season, when more than half the time the quality is terrible if it's even working at all, and it's just an awful experience to follow your favorite team. It's literally spending at minimum an extra $100 a season to have a worse viewing experience if I were to "put my foot down" as you say, and then don't get to also be able to easily watch all my fantasy players as a bonus on top. I spent at over a dozen years going to the bar every Sunday to watch us play, so now that I get to watch from the comfort of my couch, plus get all the other games, and spend less money doing so, yea, I'm going to pay that money without a second thought, it's a great deal for me and tons of other fans.
    • I wanted Stroud as well because Reich only wanted folks who fit his scheme and he isn't a good enough coach to adapt to his players. Canales didn't have that choice and was hired knowing that his job was developing Bryce. To his credit he was able to embrace the challenge and make the necessary changes.
