Another Luke Kuechly for DROY Thread!

If this kid doesn't win DROY, I'm speechless. He's leading the league atm with 130 damn tackles with 3games left to play. No defensive rookie have played better this season than Luke.

People can make a case for Chandler Jones and Bobby Wagner a couple weeks back, but as of now they can't touch Kuechly. Wagner had a great game today with "2 ints", but neither does Wagner or Jones go out playing a game of Cat and Mouse like what Kuechly did today with Matt Ryan. Cant find no rookie Defensive player reading and audibling plays vs a league Top QB.

That's all I gotta say. LUKE KUECHLY for DROY!

How the hell did you exclude Casey Hayward?

Kuechly needs a couple of ints or ffs to seal the deal. If we started Kuechly in the middle from the beginning, and kept him on the field from the beginning, Keek would have had over 200 tackles, and more turnovers. Thanks again for sabotaging the team Rivera.

    • I could be waaaaaaay off about Kon. I do fault myself into, to borrow a NFL phrase heavily "RAS" nerd on players, too much. There are PLENTY of athletic freak shows that are playing overseas(or Amazon delivery) cause they never figured out NBA ball. I can easily miss seeing the talent. Plus did he only have 2 dunks on the season??(is that for real??) I didn't watch over a few hours of duke, but not one point did I think "That Kon guy is a top 4 pick in the upcoming draft". IMO I still foresee Ball bringing the ball up, doing his weak isolation game and never even looking for Kon. That's his best trait according to everyone, shooting right? I do not see ball, bridges, miller or even williams making the extra pass to Kon for him to shoot a 3.  Then defense-wise, Im not ready to type the amount of questions I foresee in his ability for guarding NBA SGs or bench SFs for that matter. Not that NBA players care to defend, but still..... I just feel he's a bad fit for the current hornets, trades are taking place tho... Liam to me is a decent comp for Kon and he fell some, but was a 29 overall pick. Still around 13-21 was the good solid range for Liam and I thought the same for Kon. This is just a classic case of I need to see it. It add to this, Kon is like garlic. Ball is like sugar and Miller is like flour. Mix it together and chef Lee is not going to get me to eat that dish..... Honestly I don't know why Im this vocal about Kon. In past years I would be patience and not post and see what the kid has. The other side, insert classic white boy terms here- _____, ______, _______< etc >. Hornets do desperately need them. His crafty back door cuts, his willingness to stay a extra 2 hours to refine lees plays, keep playing with bruised limbs. I heard from many reports he's mentally tough and hornets by all gods need that. God they are such pussys.  I hope Im wrong and if so, I will give Kon his just props.
