How "good" are the Panthers really? Or how bad was San Diego?

Are we as good as advertised in the last 2 games?

Because for the life of me, the Atlanta game and 3 quarters of the chargers game, the Panthers were unstoppable. If we played like this all year, we probably would only have 1, maybe 2 losses....

It just makes me ask, what could have been this season? And now a small part of me now thinks this team is finally "getting it", and starting to sync....just about 10 games too late. My fear is that now this young team is starting to sync, what happens when a new coaching staff and/or a new GM guts it?

Carolina has been in almost every game all season.....regardless of opponent.

SD is just bad. Rivera, also isn't coaching scared bc the season is over....which helps. Also, Chud is calling better games and formations.

We are slightly better.....competition weaker

Our schedule is a whole lot easier and there's nowhere near as much pressure as earlier in the season.

Offense is finally clicking and is not completely handicapped by bad play calling.

I'm impressed with defense. Every time another starter goes down, it seems they improve as a unit. Were our normal starters that bad?

    • Damn back to 10th. I only caught the last 5 minutes but some of those 3's were horrible lol. In that close of game you can't be launching those many hail mary's when you could be chipping away from the foul line. I guess no one wanted to get in the paint and didn't trust the refs to give them the calls maybe? Gonna watch the highlights to get a better idea of the flow of the game
    • I agree.  The Big 12 is a good conference, and he is the swinging dick in that conference.  If Bill Self retires, that sets Kansas back a bit, and Arizona moves even further ahead as the best team in that conference.  Arizona can crush west coast recruiting with USC / UCLA no longer being relevant for LA kids, and Gonzaga not being able to compete moneywise.   If Lloyd comes here, he will be second fiddle to Duke every single year in NIL and recruits.  Not to mention the entire SEC and Big East for kids who want to stay in those regions to play. This is why I keep saying go get Mark Few.  Has proven he can do more with less from an X / O perspective but can also recruit All American players and compete at a high level. He's a god at Gonzaga, but for $9M he'd make the move as that's 4x what he's making at Gonzaga, and makes him the highest paid coach in the country.
    • Certainly not going to miss his constant whiffs on sacks and tackles.
