The Raiders Plan To Use Terrelle Pryor(Homeless man's Cam) Substantially On Sunday

So the 4-10 Raiders, with their expensiveveteran quarterback and whiz-kid coach, aren't making the playoffs. At least they're trying something new now. Per Vic Tafur of the San Francisco Chronicle, offensive coordinator Greg Knapp plans to deploy third-string quarterback Terrelle Pryor on Sunday in third-down and red zone situations in order to "use his athletic ability."

Very smart for teams that are out of the playoff hunt to use backups and see what they have.

Panthers however, will keep starters in the whole game. sigh

Probably because Cam isn't playing like poo.....Palmer is terrible. And Rivera is playing for his job.

We've used a bunch of scrubs over the last few games. There were a few times over the last few games where I said ' who the fug is that guy!?'

I would put Anderson in for the second half at QB no matter that Cam is playing good/bad. He is playing against the Oakland Raiders and their scrubs. So what if he has a good game going. I have not seen Anderson run the offense.

Would not play DWill at all. If he is gone at year end, then we need to know what we have to couple with Stewart

Pull Steve Smith in the second half and start using a couple other guys. Several guys need to get some playing time. With half you guys wanting a WR in the first or second pick, I would think it smart to evaluate this group.

The secondary because of injuries is getting a good look. We will at least know who has potential and who does not come April.

    • If the first 3 hit I'm 100% cashing out lol. You got anything today. I don't like anything
    • "I'm not stunned," Hansbrough said. "We talked about it at halftime, you asked me 'you have to be pretty happy.' And I said, 'No I've seen this story before.' I've seen this happen. They just had some lapses in games where they just go still offensively, defensively. Their competitiveness just drops a little bit. They never step on anybody's throat. When they have a team with a little bit of a lead, they never step on the throat. It's been something all year." The only disagreement I'd have with Hansbrough's assessment is that it's not limited to just this year. It's been Hubert's entire tenure. Hallmarks of Hubert's teams are: streaky shooting, streaky focus, running your starters into the dirt because you won't sub, and absolutely embarrassingly bad plays put of timeouts. It all points straight to the coach. When the roster keeps changing but the core fundamental issues keep recurring, it's not the players.
    • Leafs are broken. Out of the playoffs and Matthews done for the year.  It's either a very dangerous game against a team who doesn't give a fug and will leave it all on the ice, or a team who's thrown in the towel with an effort to match. And, yes, I'm sitting in the Miami Airport waiting on my next flight. Will be back in Lenovo both 28 & 29 for the b2b.
