Panthers PR guy is tired of fictional stories about Cam

Not sure why you think he will cut it out.

Every post if his is the same crap....mods tell him to stop every month or so...he doesn't because no one bans is ass for it.

I have seen dozens of posters banned for much less than his racist crap.

His constant race baiting gets old.

I don't think Cam is a thug.

I do think he is immature (not a lot of 23 year olds with that kind of $ wouldn't be)

I also think he is a diva with an ego who is learning to be more team oriented.

As far as insults to African Americans go anyone can be a thug, he is the one promoting a negative stereotype.

CARuthless was the one race baiting describing Cam as a "thug" and implying Atlanta loves "thugs" because of a wack ass rapper that is from there. His statement was very ignorant. I'm not shocked you came running to his defense. Truthfully, he should be banned for a week for "race baiting", but he wont be.

CAM? A thug? Lol oh hellz no! True thugs are hardcore individuals. You'll never see a real thug poutting like a B even over his dead homie. No, Cam is a lot of things but a thug isn't one of them.

Everyone thinks Cam is an asshole. And he is.

Actually....he is more child like than assholish.

Also, in a league era where QB protection is of the highest emphasis it is funny the heat Cam go last week for being worried about his body.

....and again, Cam has kicked guys off his legs all year. He should.

So I've worked a lot of bar/restaurant jobs in Atlanta through an entertainment company I used to work for, and I've met a poo ton of people in the bar/club industry. I've heard a lot of stories.

I know people that saw Ray Lewis kill that guy. I know Eugene Robinson was trying to pick up a tranny the night he grabbed a UC. I know the zifty guy that delivers Matt Ryan all his meals from the restaurant on the bottom floor of his luxury condo complex. I'm basically the guy from this Steely Dan song.

Cam Newton does not drink, at least not in public. He never stays anywhere past one. He's been dating the same girl for years. He's goofy as hell and is really only comfortable on a football field. He's smart, well spoken, and tips well.

You lost me with this BS story when you said Cam is well spoken, have you seen a press session with him? Brutal.

And yet again Taharqa receives incoming fire while Grits and PFFL giggle maniacally from the wings.

I find it quite curious how Taharqa remains Public Enemy #1 for some of you and yet these same posters never seem to be able to make a single comment with regard to Grits and PFFL when they are even more blatant about it.

I can't stand either of them, they are beyond reason I can say only one thing about KT when he isn't bringing race into the conversation (about 5% of the time) he is a decent poster.

We should create a special forum for him to praise and worship his and idolize Cam Newton and Lebron James.

Yes it is. The huddle is ok with slurs towards blacks as long as it isnt the N word. You allow people to throw it around at will on here knowing they'd be too coward to say it in people's face. Im offended you guys are so accepting of that crap Kurb.

No it isn't. No matter how bad you may want it to be to further your argument.

People in ATL love thugs.... See 2 chainz... Not so much in the carolinas

What? And this is ignored, but as soon as KT points something like this out, he's called the racist smh. KT is and has been spot on about everything he's said. It's post like this that backs it up. It's also funny how people are so quick to call KT racist, but ignore post like this.

It's clear he said Atlanta loved thugs because of its African American population.

Some people really really just hate swag, particularly from a young, decidedly handsome black guy that had a successful meteoric rise at the collegiate level and has basically stated---with authority and confidence---that he plans to translate that to the pros. They want nothing more than for Cam to fall, and/or to fall in line with what ever negative stereotypes and/or false notions that they have about this perceived arrogant asshole. They want him to fail on the field, first and foremost, but even if Cam displays even the the slightest bit of marginal improvement on the field, they commence to attacking everything that they can about Cam Newton off the field.

They don't know Cam. His kind of swagger is foreign to them, and makes them uncomfortable. It's easier for them to sit back and join the negative "amen" choir. I am glad that it appears as though Cam and the organization are focusing on the game, and not all the noise around it. That's the only thing that really matters.

    • Same. I would prefer a MNF game earlier in the season. As if more likely has some significance in case things go south this season. If we perform well enough we could even get another game forced to a Sunday night spot later in the season.
    • Wanted to jump into this thread. Although I do not post anymore I do look in as there are a few old friends around. Loved hearing some of the names you mentioned.  Another  oldie is NanceUSMC.  He is the one who got me here from the old Observer forum.  Good guy and smart football guy. I have learned a lot from a lot of good Huddlers over the years, Over time. we have sadly lost a few who left this earth too soon.  Anyone who know of someone, it would be nice to try to make a list.  One of the more recent, CosmoGirl,  was someone that kind of hit hard.  Life sucks sometimes. Some of the best times were when we had our own tailgate and could meet up in person.  I think it made us better. Several dedicated volunteers, lead by LiverMush, started setting things up in the wee hours of each gameday morning.  Don't know all those regulars but I remember JakeFlake was one.  For you newbies...each game,  a Huddler (or a group) sponsored the food for each tailgate.  Eating was free but a donation was asked for.  At the end of the year those donations were used to buy bicycles for Toys for Tots.  Over the years Huddlers bought a lot of new bikes for kids for Christmas.  (I am guessing a couple of hundred each year.)  We had a good time getting together, got to make friends in person, and then got to feel like you were doing something good. It was truly a community. I got to meet Dan Morgan at one of our tailgates...he brought pizza from his restaurant.  How many of you remember that?  Glad the restaurant did not make it....lol. Not only have people changed, and come and gone.....but the entire nature and purpose has changed. Nothing lasts forever and we move on but we still like to think about good times. Same reason we take pictures. Want to ask a question I have not seen anyone else mention......who remembers    "The Couch" ?  We have argued, laughed, lived the ups and downs of football and dealt with a little real life along the way.  A thanks to  the Mods who keep this going.  I am sure they sacrifice a lot of their time out of love for the forum and the Panthers. Take care my friends and be well.  I will close with my new favorite quote which I think is greatly needed in these difficult times.
    • My top-5 JAGS: 1. Tommy Tremble: May not ever be top-tier, but has been solid and you never doubt the effort. 2. Cade Mays: Not bad for a 6th rounder. Hated to see him go. 3. Brady Christensen: One of the most versatile backup OLs in the NFL. Hopefully we re-sign him. 4. Trevis Gipson: Quietly was really solid depth last season. Glad we brought him back. 5. Brycen Tremayne: Has been solid depth at WR, flashing at times last year.
