No one inside that building gives a flying fug what you think about the team. So what good does it do to be unhappy about the team? Its football for god sake. Just enjoy the season while it last. Stop whining about who jerry will or will not hire. if that is not simple enough for you to understand i dont know how to break it down for you anymore.

I really hope this doesn't turn into another turd season....but....I'll be optimistic for now....ugh!

good luck with this

I don t believe Rivera can bring home an NFC championship let alone a superbowl victory to us

Watched the Chargers replay. DW as the starter makes a huge difference. Cam seems more confident with DW back there. Tolbert works great as a change up.

It appears in the ATL and Charger game that Rivera has learned how to finish games, furthermore, Chud is not a problem and never was. The offense only has two legit WRs and this is a problem...Olsen and Smith can not carry the entire vertical game. Murphy is pure crap and there is nobody after Murphy.

Watching Raiders game now.

Raiders game was sloppy. Defense shut the Raiders down and the offense played well enough to win. Lot's of penalties and stupid mistakes. Cam's head appears to have grown a bit after 3 wins....but overall the coaching was solid..

If you watch the last 4 games Rivera clearly earned the 2013 HC job.

Saints game seals it....this team really busted their butts for Rivera....Tolbert and DW together make a great backfield....the defense was solid through out the last 4 games....the special teams out played ATL/Chargers/Raiders/Saints and did everything to help the team, which has not been the case for years....Chuds offense looked great....Cam looked like the man.

Rivera should stay after watching these 4 very strong performances....there...I agree with JR if you base things on the last 4 games.

RR will hopefully learn from his mistakes. Mainly, time management. One day after RR gets his Gatorade bath after hoisting the Lonbardi trophy with Cam, we can look back at the time he called a time out to allow the saints to kick a FG in a game we ultimately lost by 3...

I think I am one of the few that think Rivera did what he promised.

No I think you're right. He strikes me as a genuine man who wouldn't promise something he couldn't deliver and as far as I can remember he's basically done what he said he'd do. It's to his credit that he didn't fold when the world was bearing down on him. I question whether he's going to be able to learn from his mistakes in time to do well enough next year to save his ass...but I believe that if he says something will happen he'll run himself to death trying to make it happen.

Really that's what makes this whole thing so difficult. Rivera is a guy who you can look at and tell he desperately wants to do well and because of it you just want to succeed. It's even more infuriating when he does dumb poo because I hate that I'm so pissed at him for it.

Like I said elsewhere I was on the get rid of him bandwagon and I still think it wasn't the best idea to keep him (although the Kelly antics make the decision look a liiittle less stupid) but now that he's our coach he's our coach and I hope he kicks every available ass next year.

This guys likes efficiency.

Lol, I just don't like repetition. If something's already been said, don't repeat it. I know it's the offseason but hell, keep yourself busy with work, school, basketball, NFL Playoff's, hockey (now)... no one really gives a crap what your opinion is after there was already a thread on it lol...

You know what I mean.

I agree, but then the forum might get awfully boring.

    • I can say that I have defended Canales because I get that they are doing all they can to keep from looking like idiots for drafting Bryce, from the trade up to signing $150m guards to drafting XL and Brooks etc---nothing seems to work.  And Hiring Canales was part of the Bryce Young rehab program, so so he can't really decide to "move on."  That has to come from Morgan and Tepper. Personally, I think Bryce is due for an injury.  He is small, he is not thick, and he has been a LOT more healthy than most any other QB has who has endured so much pressure.  The thing that bothers me is this---Bryce really does not go through his progressions quickly.  He locks on to his presnap read and stays locked onto him for too long--he seems to fail to anticipate the WR/TE's positioning on the play before the cut--for example, if the WR is running a dig and the CB has his back to the inside of the field, he should be open for a second or less just after the cut.  He seems to wait until the cut has been made before deciding, then checking down quickly while moving in the pocket. OL:  There seems to be a lack of communication--is that on Mays?  Watch this team presnap--they seem a bit confused at times.   I can almost predict the success rate of the play by watching the center and QB before the snap.
    • Anyone else remember back in 2010 when Fox piloted having music under the in-game replays during one of Carolina's games? Not the commercial bumpers but the actual replay clips that the announcers would talk over. Pretty sure it was vs the 49ers. And it was terrible. Point being, Carolina continues being so bad that we get the networks trying things out during their games.
    • Is it bad I found this video more hilarious than pathetic? I am still laughing at that one play where half the people on the field ran into each other and Bryce still couldn't see Chuba wide open... Also laughing at Cade blocking nobody and somehow losing his cleat Man this offense is a poo show
