Broncos and Fox begin Scapegoat jettison

It didn’t help that Moore grossly misplayed an underthrown ball, jumping too soon and flailing like a blindfolded kid trying to implode a piñata hanging three feet higher than his stick can reach.

Though Moore may eventually take the fall for the failure of the defense, defensive backs coach Ron Milus is the first one to go. Per multiple reports, Milus has been fired.

Milus re-joined the Broncos in 2011 with head coach John Fox, who had hired Milus in 2009 with the Panthers. Though it’s unclear whether Milus already was on thin ice, the unprecedented manner in which the Broncos squandered a late lead undoubtedly sealed his fate.

Who's next?

Why do fans still hanging on Foxy's nuts . I thought I was bad

Ya know what chuck, your right. Let us never mention our previous coach of nine seasons, nor shall we have any joy at his shortcomings that look soooooo damn familiar. Also it is now a bannable offense to bring up the fact that John fox hit the free agent lottery with Peyton Manning. Smh

Can we stop with the Fox posts? You sound like Taylor Swift singing about her ex boyfriends.

man, you must have hated it this season when we got a tidal wave of "foxy would have done xyz look at what he's doing in denver all of you who said he was a bad coach are idiots he's going to get a ring with peyton" after every loss.

fox helped lose that game with his usual shenanigans, but that secondary blew the game. champ bailey needs to retire and there's a good chance getting rid of milus was a good move.

I kept hearing the announcers say that the defensive gameplan was predicated on Bailey's ability to play one on one. I would have maybe done that when he was ten years younger. That is just bad game planning on Del Rio's part. Once Smith beat Bailey, he walked into the endzone. No over the top help.

    • Do you see the vision?  As of now our Carolina Panthers don’t have an identity. We are not an offensive powerhouse and on defense we only started getting it together towards the end of the year last year. In my opinion we are much closer to having an incredible defense that scares the daylights out of people. I say the answer is simple and we fully commit to that possible identity.    Emmanuel McNeil Warren (E man)  This guy is like a shark lurking around ready to attack anyone. Fearless. He is easily a top 20 talent in my eyes, and the only reason he isn’t more talked about is because he’s from Toledo. Do your due diligence as panther fans and watch his tape I beg you. Once you’re done watching let me ask you this, if you dropped E - Man into the strong safety spot on the Buckeyes, he isn’t being talked about as one of the best prospects we’ve seen in some time given the skill set you see with this guy? I think so. Put his name on the card and turn it in at 19.    Jacob Rodriguez  High effort, High energy, High IQ guy that flies around the field. We all know Jacob at this point. My only concern is he’s a little bit too good and I’m not sure he makes it to us at our pick in the second. With the additions of Jacob and E- Man I think our defense goes to top 5 in the league. We would have a duo of linebackers that rival anything we’ve had in our past. I’m not a GM so I don’t know what the possible answer could be, but if there’s a way we can comfortably trade up in the second to secure this guy I think we find a way to do it.    Spend the rest of our picks fixing the O - line.    Thoughts Panthers fans? Who’s the ideal duo for yall?
    • OL is arguably much more important to the success of a young QB. (Or any QB)
    • Didn’t get around to watching this one but looks like Pistons played their starters and actually tried…? Unlucky that they sit vs Magic, etc and try vs us. Hopefully we can beat the Heat and then Magic or 6ers with no Embiid. BUT if not, the NBA really should give us the lottery win this year like they did Mavs last year. Another high pick could be our final missing piece and have us as legit top contenders next year and going forward if we’re healthy. Or trade it for a Giannis type
