Do you consume "energy" drinks?

I'm coffee, water and beer until recently when a biometric screening revealed that I have low LDL. So now I have added a glass of red wine to my evening along with some other things to try and increase that. So no to the energy drinks. Just strong, black coffee for me up until a little before lunch time every day. Then water till dinner. Beer and wine once the baby is in bed.

Never had a Redbull or any such drink... never tried a "5 hour energy" either...

I do however drink a large coffee in the morning and usually take a pre-workout, almost all of which have caffeine, prior to my afternoon workout.

...and it's interesting to note that caffeine is one of those rule breaker ie/ei words. Weird. Hey, weird is too...

I drink sugar-free RedBull, usually 2x 12oz a day. I got on the sugar-free after that was all the Bossman had at his condo & I knew we werent going to stop on the way to the convention. Never felt the crash of a regular until I didnt feel it from a sugar-free, havent looked back since. I will go through about 5 on poker Saturdays, 2 at work & 3 during the game...

Although, just last week I didnt have any for 3 days. I felt great. I will open the first of the day just because, after that I feel like I need it. But after last week's revelation I am seriously reconsidering continued consumption...

I went through a phase where I drank Monster a lot. I think red bull tastes a little better but it also costs more so I never really drank it. Lately I've been using powder caffeine, which is cheaper and works really well. http://www.amazon.com/Caffeine-Anhydrous-Alertness-NuSci-HerbStoreUSA/dp/B0045RYE0Q/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1359400521&sr=8-1&keywords=caffeine+powder

I dont really drink caffeine much anyways, I'm trying to avoid using it to wake up every morning until I'm older.

I used to really like what was then a little known energy drink, I could only find it at a couple gas stations. Then some redneck started endorsing it and it was everywhere, Mt. Dew Amp.

I don't drink energy drinks anymore.

Red Bull is terrible btw, just turrible

I really don't know what would happen if I stopped drinking them...I am sitting here thinking about it and I really am addicted to the stuff and have been drinking them daily for many years. It can't be good for me and it's costing me about $7.50 a day (Not counting the coffee). That's over $200 a month!!! WTF is wrong with me?

Cutting them out starting tomorrrow....what an enlightening thread this has been.

The scapegoating and blaming the teams woes on his personality is where it's like Cam Newton all over again. It was a failure on multiple fronts and primarily Lee's. Dude said ON AIR pregame that they had to protect the paint and if that was his gameplan going in he couldn't have botched it more. As the commentators said Ball's a rhythm guy and Orlando was preventing him for getting any kind of flow going. I'm a normie watching on TV and said they needed to bait them into fouling to combat that. They didn't even try until the 2nd half when it was too late. I think it's fair to expect the star to overcome whatever but LaMelo was not the problem in that game and he's not what is holding the team back. He's the only reason they're flirting with being a great team. I kinda put the center play on Lee too. Moose is great until he's up against a big who can body him. We've always known that and that's what Kalkbrenner is for. I don't know if it would have changed much but Kalkbrenner should have had more minutes than him.  And moving forward with the center position, I just think it's the time to trade Diabate while his stock's high and that's not an indictment of his game. He's like an evolved combination of Biyombo and PJ. He's a great rim protector and the strength issue is just what you're going to have to deal with if you want that. But Kalkbrenner is perfectly capable of protecting the rim and we gotta get away from the undersized centers or it'll always be a problem for us.
    • Honestly its why that Jalen Coker grab was a big deal.  I'd been warming up to the idea of a sadiq pick and was adamantly against a receiver...but this altered my train of thought.  I mean For instance, Cade Otton signed for 3 yr 30 mil contract...thats not dramatically different than the rookie payscale for #19 (4 year 20 mil with 5th year option), however you KNOW otton is decent...no clue if Sadiq will be anything.
