I don't care what anyone says The Panthers will be in the Superbowl

I dunno.

As a fan, do or die, I tend to agree with the positive outlook. I feel like not wanting/hoping your team will make it to and win the SB is almost on par with being a fair-weather fan.

"We have a new (insert player or coach here)" or "we have a tougher schedule" arguments don't make a rip to me. Same goes for the over analysis and the superstitions. We have the tools for the task.

Color me bright Homer but I honestly beleive that the road to the SB is one Sunday at a time and I have the faith that the Panthers are very capable of doing it. That loss to Arizona shouldn't have happened and I expect my little on and myself to take a bunch of ribbing this season when we go to the Arizona game. I will root us on and it would only be sweet revenge when the Panthers come out victorious.

So all I got to say is "Right on, RT81!" But if you jinxed us, I will come a visitin'.

I'm always postive but its something about this team that I like more than others panther teams over the years..I just got that feeling we going to shock all the espn morons and by the end of the year they be eating out of our hands.

I think you're right, actually. I haven't seen many people talk about this other than me, however maybe I'm not the only one, but last year our team had confidence on the field. This being the "John Fox team who never says anything out of place" went into Giant stadium and confidently told people to keep sleepin' on them (by the finger to the mouth in a "shhh" action). That wasn't the only game.

Beason made a comment about how special this team is... I can't find the article right at the moment, but he said something to the effect of "Get ready for great things to come." But much more focused on how great this team is and to forget about the past... He made 2 comments of this nature.

You can look at the "trend" in the past and form opinions.. But I simply ask how can this not be considered among all things? This team, the ones who actually do this on the highest level, know they are all there for one purpose and that they have the talent setup to do great tings. Is that irrelevant to people?

I think it speaks a lot into how good this team feels about itself and that translates into the team feeling they can contend with the best teams or come back in the 4th... This promotes a "fire" on the field and that "never give up" attitude... Throw into the mix our new D coordinator and assistants who we are already seeing how fired up they are... Our team has a very healthy environment to help them keep their head in the game when the other team might not, and if they do, we will go toe to toe with them...

That's just how I would feel though... =P

If the offense stays the same in terms of production (i expect it to improve, PARTICULARLY with delhomme's throws - i think the new QB coach will make a much better player out of him) and the defense plays even a little bit better than last year (it's hard to get worse than we were, bleeding 30+ points a game) then we'll go deep into the playoffs.

I expect the NFC South won't give us much trouble - the saints are the saints, tampa bay is rebuilding and will go 8-8 at best, and the falcons - well, they'll be our biggest competition, and we'll either split the series or beat them both times. As for the rest of the games, i think our team tends to do better when going toe-to-toe with really good teams that we have no business beating. Matching up against the Patriots, Giants, Cowboys... I think the team will stay motivated, competitive, and grind to a good finish, make the playoffs, and make up for last year's atrocity.

NFC Championship Game at the very least, IMO. :D

Pure optimism. I too am an optimist. Whenever John Fox has a good set of runningbacks and a good D line we seem to get very far. I agree 100% about the confidence this team had last year. We now have everybody back and then some. Promising draft picks, JP, Double Trouble, the Oline, Moose, Smitty and ehem... Jake. Seriously, this reminds me of the 03 team.

There is great cause for optimism.

You may call it cocky I call it having faith in my team.I mean look we easly have the best running attack in the league, best wr in the league,a new defense cord who gonna get us back to playing defense the way we like.

I see no reason not to believe we not going to the superbowl. we got the players to do it. just have faith my fellow panther fans

I like the positiveness. Rare on this site.
