  1. 1. Do you think Gettlemen will stay with only 5 draft picks?

i think the effort will be there, but we won't be the only ones trying to do it. if we do, i don't think we get much out of it. most would likely be a 3rd and maybe a 7th, but even then it's a stretch.

i can see us doing something to try and get back in the 3rd round.

smart thing to do might just be to stand pat with what we have and load up on udfas. as deep as this class is, i suspect they'll be some decent talent to fall through the cracks and we've got just the right GM to spot it.

I could honestly see us trade back and grab an extra 2nd IF we're lucky. Basically a team would have to really want a player the Saints would be targeting.

1st) Jonathan Cyprien S/ Florida Atlantic

2nd) Keenan Allen WR/ Cal (possibly falls due to injury) or Quinton Patton WR/ Louisiana Tech

2nd) Larry Warford OG/ Kentucky or Justin Pugh OG/ Syracuse (seems to be rising but maybe he falls???)

I think a ton of teams are going to be trying to trade down this year. Probably more so than in most drafts. This seems like a deep draft, but not very elite in terms of the top of the draft.

We're fortunate that it's particularly deep in two positions where we have a big and immediate need - WR and DT. I'd love to see us go DT/WR in the 1st and 2cd.

I think we trade players to get more picks. Trading back is really hard to do.

Maybe not this years. So many teams with multiple picks and can't use them all. Then are teams like the Rams and Minny who might fall in love with a prospect and will try and trade up to get him.

Vaccaro. Saw on NFL network the other day. One of them mocked Vaccaro to NO. A team like Cincy or even SF may wanna move up for him.

    • I live in Indiana and took a trip that weekend to watch my two friend's teams play (Chiefs and Vikings) IN Minnesota when they were playing at a college field, I think TCF? Anyways, our plan was to watch the game (noon game) then do some shopping at the Mall of America, I wasn't planning on watching the Panthers play Seattle since I was out sight seeing and walking around after the noon game had ended. By the time we were walking back into the Mall the Panthers were down by 2 scores in the 4th or going into the 4th and we were all thirsty from walking around for 2.5 hours after the Vikings game so we decided to postpone shopping until after we ate. We found this nice little sports bar inside the mall that had the game on. Man, I'm so glad we skipped shopping because that was probably the most excited I've been in some time for a win. Beating Seattle in 2015 felt like the "monkey off the back" sort of feeling and I knew we had finally arrived as a team. The entire bar erupted when Cam hit Olsen for that walk off TD. Literally one of the greatest moments of my life. My friend wasn't so happy though lol, by the time the Panthers game ended ALL of the stores inside the mall had closed and he wasn't able to get any souvenirs. It was his first time watching a Vikings game live and making a trip like that so he was legit upset lol. I on the other hand couldn't have been happier.
    • This is the Buc's division to lose.  We come out on top only if the wheels come off if Tampa.  I agree we can be--and should be--better than the Saints and likely the Falcons.  A 9-8 season would be nice, but it isn't great.  It's mediocre and that something the Panthers haven't been in nearly a decade, but would be reason to celebrate.  Heck, the Steelers will likely fire Tomlin over a 9-8 season because they are tired of being mediocre.
    • First game was a awful stat line. 2nd DNP due to ankle Summer league doesn't help what hes bring, its dang near YMCA pickup game level.  I heavily question the type of player he is and his future was NOT, not not not what you use #4 pick on. Hornets got him on visit and still made the pick, they better hope he has some Larry legend in him. I maintain huge questions.
