Cam.

But he was also the biggest reason for our wins too. And he's the QB so he's got the oppertunity more than any other player to affect the game.

If he doesn't fumble in the Atlanta game we win.

If he hits a wide open Hartsock in the endzone in the Seahawks game we win.

But it's hard to blame a player that does so much for the team. Even Superman makes mistakes.

I think SS and NT are our biggest weakness and filling those positions with quality players will go the farthers in helping us improve.

If I had to pick one I'd say NT. Shores up the run D. Pushes the pocket and allows our DE to get up field and reek havoc which is turn makes our less than stellar CB's look very good.

If the defense holds Atlanta on the 1 yard line with 50 secs left and no time outs we win.

Even if he would have hit Hartstock for the touchdown the game wasn't over there were over 3 minutes left and the defense gave up scores in less time last year.

Is Cam perfect? No, but blaming him for any loss last season is insulting and laughable.

I would say that you just listed every deficiency we have minus offensive line problems. It was all of them but, if I had to pick I would say secondary. Specifically the safety position. No head hunter to step in the box and not even a similance of a cover Saftey. Too many times our last line of defense was caught looking around like they had no clue where they were supposed to be. In the NFL that is as inexcusable as it gets.

To me it was secondary, I agree with the coaching especially in the first half of the season but we adjusted well in the end but too late for playoff contention but it was just awful seeing the lack of talent on the secondary though, every pass was scary to watch when thrown against our D and all the teams knew we had that soft coverage problem, every big body receiver was a threat like Brandon Marshall towards the end of the 4th qt

oline oline oline. IDK how you can even make this poll without that being an option. we had a league consensus bottom 5 line in the league. there is only one top tier quarterback who is succeeding without a strong line and that man is aaron rodgers.

I vote a combo of play calling and end if the game management.

Play calling....first half of the season was atrocious. We tried to be too cute and creative.

EOG management...both on coaches and players. Rivera had several click management and decision blunders. However, it seemed like when we needed to make just one play to secure a win, we just could not make it.

Cam's fumble....unbelievably unlucky.

Nak's bad angle.

Cam not being able to hit Hartsick against Seattle.

Smitty falling down against Chicago.

Defense unable to stop TB's last drive.

This team began to learn how to play late and close out games late in the season. I hope that carries over.
