Some of you guys take Charlotte for granted

I'm not trying to troll or bait here, just stating my opinion. Not saying all of you are like this, but I've seen some people here say things like, "Charlotte is good for nothing," and the like.

Let me just say this. I go to school in Knoxville, Tennessee. The place is a complete shithole. High crime rates, poorly constructed roads, horribly planned city, nothing can grow because of the terrible air quality (worst in the nation for the 3rd straight year), trash and hobos everywhere, nothing but hills and fugly UT orange, stuck up self-righteous idiots who worship UT football, no businesses except for Pilot. Going to school here sucks; I can't imagine paying taxes to live here.

Three weeks ago I visited Charlotte for a few days on my spring break en route to New York City. My friend and I were both blown away by the natural and developed beauty, the visual progress (a foreign word in Knoxville), the friendliness and intelligence of the people, the beautiful skyline, and the business here. It's like night and day compared to Knoxville. I'm on my phone, but I will post comparison pics later to confirm my arguments.

Again, not saying all of you take Charlotte for granted, but some of you act like it sucks. Soak in the beauty of your city and embrace it. I'd absolutely kill to work and live there.

Just a little rant. :)

I grew up about 20 minutes from the Tennessee line, in Boone. I've been to Tennessee more times than I've ever wanted to. Everything about that state blows huge cock. It's worse than SC and that's saying something.

The only good thing about TN is that you can properly dispose of your trash anywhere you please and it won't make a difference.

Charlotte is lovley..after living in Columbia, SC this long you appreciate the little things like having resturants that are outside of wings, baloney sub shops called delis and musTURD BBQ

Actually having a covo about Professional sports teams....people with Tourette's here yell Cocks!! Or Tigers! It gets old n that is all they know.

Also after weeding my yard 10 minutes ago...I hate Burmuda grass!!

West Virginia is 10x's better than any part of TN.

fug the fuggity fug out of that. at least TN has nashville... i lived in morgantown, the cultural center of WV, for a year or so as a kid and even then i knew it sucked hard ass. i'd take just about any part of TN over it in a heartbeat

    • Bryce and Dave will determine how many games this team wins next year. It’s not on the WRs. The RBs. LBs. This is about 2 things: 1. Can Bryce continue to come up big in the few key downs that decide most games?  2. Can Canales evolve his play calling to counter punch like the big boys do. Half time adjustments.  teams that score 30+ points on the regular win more games than not. That’s on Bryce and Dave. The offense is top 10 at every position group, save for TE and QB. A baller TE is gravy but not crucial when the receivers are dudes.  The defense is the defense. It’ll be better this season, hopefully by a large margin, but Dave/Bryce is really where it’s at.
    • Normally I'd wholeheartedly agree with this. But I feel like teams figured out this offense after the Raiders game. Bryce was so inept the first 2 games that we couldn't really even run the offense. Dalton's first game showed what we had. But after that game, coverages got a lot tighter and windows were smaller. When Bryce came back in, his ability to extend plays made a big difference. It's really difficult to stop a QB that can beat/escape 1on1 tacklers. It puts a lot of pressure on the defense when you blitz. And he was completing throws in tight coverage with anticipation. Point being Bryce wasn't throwing to wide open receivers that were schemed open by the offense. Occasionally yes. But not often.
    • With the additions we've made to our roster combined with the state of the division and the conference as a whole there is no excuse for this team not to make a legitimate push for 8-9 wins. Anything less is honestly inexcusable. There will be no more free passes for being a doormat in this iteration of the league where even mediocre teams are competing for playoff spots.
