Jets to cut Tebow...could there be a place a the Panthers's roster?

I'm not a fan of The Golden Calf of Bristol. But talent is talent. He's not a starting NFL QB but could he be used as an emergency back QB but then also used as a HB//FB/TE type of player but he would have to actually contribute in that role. Of course it's also up to The Golden Calf of Bristol to take on that type of role.

Then there is also the issue of the media attention and crazy evangelical Christians to deal with.

I'm not advotcating for this but the idea came to mind when I read the Jets are going to cut him and wanted to see what others thought. To be honest his time in the NFL may have come to an end.

If The Golden Calf of Bristol didn't bring a circus and would commit to being a FB......he would be a great addition to any team. But that isn't the case.....

At this point is there still a circus with him, especially if he came to Carolina? Maybe...

But I think the bigger issue is he still thinks he is a NFL starting caliber QB. I think his next stop will be in the CFL.

      As one of the biggest Miller over Scoot stans at that time, this is clearly different because everything is all about me and what I want. But in all seriousness, I think most of the argument against Miller at that time was about off the court stuff but on the court he was clearly the better player. So if I had to compare, I would say this feels more like if we had drafted not Scoot instead of Miller, but a player ranked more around 6th on big boards instead of either. Bailey was pretty much universally a top 3 player in this draft and Knueppel was not.

      lol well that kinda ended up working out in the end, even though I still don't have my jersey yet. Was supposed to ship by tomorrow this time, but just got another email saying it was delayed another 3 weeks and because it's been delayed so long, I had to tell them to keep the order or cancel it, but gave me a 25% off my next order as an apology. Well, my original fear came true and they are now selling the FUSE version (but still not the Blue unfortunately) before the one I ordered was ever shipped. But that's awesome, because I was able to use that coupon to order the FUSE instead and then cancelled the original order.  So I got the jersey I wanted for only $6.30 more than the crappier version costs, and it also says it will be shipped immediately and get here early next week, or 2 weeks before the other was now supposed to be shipped out.
