Well now that Hopkins and Woods are gone lets see how they do before we declare them the best in the class.

Nelson Agholor will take plenty of pressure off of Marqise Lee.  The kid has made incredible strides since last year...

USC produces very good NFL talent, just not at the offensive skill positions.  I don't want a QB, RB, or WR from USC.  I normally don't get into the whole generalizing prospects because of where they played, but the evidence stacked against USC skill position players for the past decade or so is STRONG.

You do realize coaches change right?

Sammy Watkins will be better than Marquis Lee.  We would be fortunate to nab Watkins next year.

Do you have reasoning for that, because going by what the two have done on the field there's nothing to support that claim.  I'm not saying theres a huge difference between the two, but I do think Lee has the slightly better ability as far as going to the next level.

Can we quit the USC can't produce NFL skill players and SEC has the best talents in CFF.

Sammy Watkins plays for Clemson who is in the ACC. But I agree, the "mighty" SEC is made out to have dominated the draft, but these are the number of draftees from the last five drafts by conference.

  • SEC : 187
  • ACC : 184
  • Big 10 : 159
  • Pac-10 : 159
  • Big 12 : 148
  • Football Championship Subdivision : 90
  • Big East : 89
  • Mountain West : 61
  • Conference USA : 44
  • MAC : 44
  • WAC : 44
  • Division II : 25
  • Independents : 18
  • Sun Belt : 13
  • Division III : 4
  • Canada : 1
  • Community College : 1
  • NAIA : 1

Three more players than the next conference is not much of a "domination" if you ask me.

Both are quality receivers, but I disagree with you. Lee has great intangibles to his game, but the same could be said for Watkins. Both have great hands, run great routes but what is the main difference? Speed. While Lee is a little taller, he runs around a 4.5-4.6 40 dash. Watkins is a world class athlete that can run a "4.2 something". Sammy Watkins is going to destroy defenses and I want him in Carolina.

I would like to see those numbers and see how many players are actually starting in the NFL for more than 3 seasons and didn't flame out.
