Star's Madden Rating

The only thing I did on last year's Madden was Ultimate Team.  It's pretty fun compared to the lousy franchise mode.

TBH, if you play madden 13 now its alot better then when it came out. Thats the thing about Madden that makes me mad, it takes till about 1/2 the season to get the game that should have come out at launch... And ratings mean nothing on madden if you good you can win with any team. Only team I play with is Carolina and i start Norman at one CB spot and still play well, just dont bump and run with him play off... I got way more wins then Ls

I dominate with the Panthers on Madden. In passing situations all you have to do is put your d ends in pass coverage. I prefer man on the tight ends or the other teams best wr. I play spy with the mlb and it's normally pretty successfully. On offense I use a hurry up and dominate with the read option out of the gun. The Panthers have an amazing playbook.

Except they have fantasy draft. I have rg3 winning the superbowl for that panthers back to back

 

Offline fantasy draft? I thought they only added online. Maybe it's just because I haven't created a new franchise mode since Greg Hardy beat the record for most sacks in a season and then re-topped his own record. Just want him to be the all-time leader haha...

Just checked, still no offline fantasy draft. I know like nobody else with a PS3, so online fantasy drafts would really be impossible for me honestly. They still need to bump an offline one.

when I do play online our secondary isn't a problem at all, It's the playbook. Change your playbook then you should see an instant upgrade. Opponents are often surprised how much the secondary is everywhere and how explosive the offense is when I almost never run with Cam.

Pretty solid for a rookie. Our secondary makes it difficult for me to play with the Panthers online. I'm not a big madden player and am not that good but our DBs rankings are pretty terrible and make it tough to ever get a stop through the air.

everyones numbers will change as the season progresses those are base stats.

star should be between an 82-88. Lets hope for the higher number. Cam was rated pretty solid whenhe debuted, although keek's ratingis still a bit low...

Madden 13's franchise mode (or lack of) was horrible.

Bring 2k back to football a and make it a competition, or Madden will continue to put out a subpar product.  There's only so many times screen passes and passes to the sidelines should work.

I can live with the gameplay of the current Madden engine, but my issue now is what they've done to franchise mode. No more NCAA draft classes (only fake EA-made players to draft) and no editing players in career mode, not even to switch positions.

 

For someone like me who likes to run a realistic 'simulation' style franchise, they've really ruined the whole experience.

 

I think the new connected careers is even more realistic.  You can't edit players ratings.  Although importing draft classes was never a big deal to me.  Everything else is better than franchise mode has ever been.  I just dont see how editing players ratings can ruin the whole experience for people.

 

Maybe switching positions, but that's a minor detail to me.  I would like the ability to move a T or G to C, instead of only being able to switch from say RE to LE..

 

with that said, 13 was the last Madden I'll probably ever buy.  I do hope 2k gets the opportunity to do a better job.

You know damn well that Star's rating will drop to 77 just because he landed on the Panthers.

Cam came into madden at a 77 I believe, and it didn't take long at all for him to bump right up into the 80's and I think he ended at like 85 or 87 by the end of his rookie year. He is at 89 or 90 now I think.

 

Regardless of Stars rating coming into the game, if he shows up on sundays his ratings will change real quick.
