Post Draft Season Predictions

Recommended Posts

I gotta say that no one expects Kapernick, Wilson or RGIII to go through the 2nd year blues that Cam did. We had Seattle last year and should have won. I think we are FAR better than last year especially defensively. Manning and Brady aren't going to have time to sit back and pick us apart. If our front 7 come out on fire. This is going to be a tough team to beat.

As Rayzor said. I expect one or two. We lost to who but 10-6 is a pretty fair guess. Anything under 9-7 (especially with our schedule) will be unacceptable and the end to Rivera.

I hope we win the Super Bowl and Cam wins the MVP so he can shove the trophy up Adam Schein's orifice that speaks with.

The rookies look good, fulfilling their promise with great on-the field play.

Week One - Win.  We get a scare, but pull this one out with a last minute TD pass that gives the team a ton of confidence.

Week Two - Win.  We beat the Bills in an almost business as usual manner, although the score is still fairly close.

Week Three - Loss.  The Giants get us again, although this time we play them closer, but the game is never really in doubt.

Week Five - Win.  The Cardinals find it hard to score, and the Panthers don't.

Week Six - Win.  The Vikings are not the same ones from 2013.  The Panthers smack them around, and start gaining national attention.

Week Seven - Loss.  Yeah, at home we lay an egg.  A big, fat one.

Week Eight - Win.  An angry Panthers team goes down to Tampa Bay and stomps the snot out of them.  ESPN starts looking at us again.

Week Nine - Win.  The Falcons start realizing that the Panthers have their number.  Ryan is sacked 5 times, and they can't develop a ground game.

Week Ten - Win.  That's right, we go to San Fran and win in what's quickly noted as the best game of the year to date.  Low scoring, but not that close.

Week Eleven - Win.  Yeah, it's Monday Night Football.  And we take care of business against the Patriots.  We become a popular pick for the Super Bowl.

Week Twelve - Loss.  Dammit, every time Prisco says something positive about us, we go and lose.  Fans start wondering if we will EVER beat the Fins.

Week Thirteen - Win.  Bucs swept us this year, we return the favor.

Week Fourteen - Win.  Panthers D comes to play, holds the Saints under 24, while they score almost 40.

Week Fifteen - Win.  Jets go down by 20

Week Sixteen - Loss.  Stupid Saints win in an overtime shootout.

Week Seventeen - Win.  Panthers sweep the Falcons for the first time in what seems like forever, clinching the NFCS crown.

Wild Card - Bye.  We laugh at the Falcons as they get beat by the Eagles, who limp into the playoffs with a 9-7 record that looks better than they do

Second Round - Loss.  Everyone's riding high at Carolina, but somehow the Eagles manage to score all over us because we forget to cover their best receiver, and Cam starts trying to win by himself, and ends up turning the ball over five times.  Rivera gets to work his last year so JR can save money on his contract, and the fan base turns on Cam, forgetting what he did in the regular season and in his first two years in the league.

I think give or take a game, this could be our record. This is if we stay healthy.

8-8 or 9-7 with a win over the Falcons who are resting starters by Week 16.

Not terrible, not great. We COULD sweep one of the Saints/Bucs, surprise one of the Hawks, Pats, and Niners, and beat the Vikes to hit somewhere between 9-7 and 12-4, but it's not extremely likely. I think we're average.

I agree with the OP, except for our games against Tampa. This team scares me dude and I'm willing to admit it. How will our pass offence get anywhere if that secondary's even half as good as it's made out to be? This is why we need to bring in a guard like Moore and establish our run game. I don't like these matchups at all.

This year will be interesting, the right side of the o-line still worries me too much though. Cam will need more time to throw since we don't have a great arsenal of receivers, and we need to be able to run the ball and take some pressure off the passing game too
