oh im not sucking the dick of all the meat beaters newest bestest friend?

I haven't seen anyone doing that. Simply not jumping to conclusions.

Creep is a 50 something year old man who follows me in threads with nothing but daycare level smack talk.

Maybe you're just bored and looking for anything to talk about, but you are seriously grasping at straws.

Even this article at the Charlotte Observer that I am linking below which is also by the way the only reference besides here I can find about this anywhere online. It doesn't even mention the word holdout, not one time.

What do you think this part means?

Hardy is seeking a contract extension after a breakout season in 2012, although a source close to the player said his absences were unrelated to his contract.

You mean when they suggested a potential holdout was a reasonable thought....in the article he posted that was suppose to claim it wasn't?

This is what you're clinging to?

Indirectly allege a holdout without saying so and then immediately cite a source stating it's not contract related?

Yeah a regular Woodward and Bernstein you two guys are lol.

lol...no, the guy who wrote the article just made the same assumption. Brought it into play bc it is a possiblity. Using the facts we have and how NFL players operate to bring the possibility into play.

YOU posted that article. I only read it after we had discussed the issue.

NFL is a business and Hardy potentially is in a window where many make business moves. Pretty sure Hicks had unnamed sources that claimed his wasn't contract related at first....can't pay attention to those things. Business is business.

No one is saying he IS....just that is could happen. Thinking otherwise, no offense, is naive. Ignores the business side of the NFL.

CRA has an M.O. of being negative. He denies this but he looks at Panthers' things from the opposite of fan POV which can be percieved as negative. This is a Panther fan forum, so of course he gets annoying at times.

He is right here though. This isn't about being negative or throwing poo against the wall. It's naive to think Hardy isn't holding out from him not showing up to OTA's.  That is just being realistic based on history of these types of things.

    • To all the analysts who said "Caps in 5", thank you for telling us their departure time.
    • We won't know the answer to this for a long time. Reality is, Caleb has been the consensus #1 in that draft for years. Bryce was a similar situation, but mostly the same. He was not the clear and obvious #1 that Caleb was, but most teams had Bryce at QB1. The Panthers were always going to be terrible Bryce's rookie year.  I don't think DJ Moore's presence would have changed anything about that offense, as our guards, center, and left tackle were getting demolished on nearly every snap. It's clear Caleb's dad was trying to do everything possible to ensure Caleb didn't end up in Chicago with Eberflus. It's hard to imagine that he wouldn't have done the same, but probably more publicly with our situation, considering Carolina is an easier target for the media than Chicago. We can all speculate, but it's impossible to tell who is going to have the better career on May 16, 2025. If either QB doesn't pan out, we have an easy answer. If both flame out, the bears clearly won the trade, but it wouldn't have really mattered anyway. We all know how we win the trade. Candidly, even if one of the other picks we gave up ends up being a hall of fame player, we don't know if the panthers would have taken that player anyway. All you can do is make the best decision you can in the moment with the information you have. I really like Bryce Young, and I'm glad he's a Carolina Panther.  The only way to win in the modern NFL is to have an absolute dude at QB. I personally am happy that our franchise recognizes this, as I remember times when they did not.
