yea but the problem with that logic is that the sample size for any given nhl or nba season is large enough to be able to tell you how good a team is. when you have only 16 games in your season it's not enough to give you a good indication of just how good you are, especially when 10-6 teams are beating 14-2 teams in the superbowl.

That seals it.  He's most likely being charged with murder.  One of the other two guys must have flipped for them to have made the arrest.

you're looking at over all record, when in reality a team is only as good as they are right at that moment.

 

that's what the term "any given sunday" is based on.

 

it's easy to use hindsite to say this team was better than this team, but every sunday everyone is simply hoping their team wins.
