Interesting tidbit.......just FYI any solicitation from the huddle on the following subjects usually ends badly.....by way of example.......maintaining a job, breathing without your mouth open, finding friendship because your lonely, relationships with in-animate objects, yard care and maintenance  and last but not least, house maintenance.

That being said, I would begin with turning it off......probably a good starting point.

My air conditioner is blowing out hot air.

Do I need to change vats or is this a bigger problem?

If you are lucky it is frozen up. turn it off for a while.

Also change your filters.

Less lucky it is leaking and out of Freon or whatever you use.

Very unlucky you need it serviced or replaced.

You need to reset the thermostatic check valve.  Its what allows the cold air to blow in the summer and the warm air in the winter.

Take a standard leaf blower and stick in one of the ducts (after removing the register) and turn it up on high.  This works better the closer to the main unit you do it.  Let it run until you hear a "thud".  It wont be anything super loud but its more than a click.  This just get the check valve pointed in the right direction.

Once that's done you should be back in business.

I will change my vat first and if that doesn't work I will give this a try.

Is this like changing headlight fluid or rotating the air in your tires?

My house is way too cold right now.  I'm thinking of wrapping up in some blankets and taking a nap.

Fug you.

My bed is a puddle of sweat right now, and to top if off I got to go to work in a freaking hot warehouse.

    • I had everything saved on an old email address and my computer crashed and could not be revived.  I tried reviving it, then stumbled on one I was going to create several years ago...So I am using it instead.  My fault--did not keep the email and forgot password--
    • Rasheed Walker for Kris Jenkins Jr.is what i am actually referring to in that particular post  all those #'s you are referring to are athletic #'s & Monroe Freeling had or has an impressive combination of size & raw athletiscm & it has nothing do with his size or athelticsm that is preventing him from being a day 1 starter in the NFL technique is where he struggled at the NFL combine & not only scouts but analysts alike also viewed him as more of a developmental type of player rather than a day 1 starter  go take a look at Will Campbell transition from the SEC to the NFL another first round LT that was drafted #4 overall by the New England Patriot,s.Will Campbell was a three year starter at  LSU & was thought to be one of if not the very best LT's in the SEC  & compare his SEC carrer to his rookie season in the NFL? just because you played good in the SEC at LT does nescarrily mean you are ready to start at LT in the NFL day 1 & or your rookie season  & one last thing i think you are jumping to conclusion & somehow assuming that i do not like Monroe Freeling ?which could not be further from the truth .what i do not like is the idea starting a player who is not ready ...just saying
