Or what I have been thinking this whole time and what delhommey said in the other thread. You dont play up the need when you are dealing with a players agent you want to sign.

Ill be very dissapointed in gettleman is this isnt smokescreen

I'm hoping you are right.

Kug showed up to camp overweight?

First I heard about it. He came into camp not in shape. That doesn't mean overweight. His weight was never mentioned.

But is that really a surprise? e's a division 2 guard. He's being asked to do things now he's never done, I hope no one expected him to be ready to go.

Do the Seahawks have a patchwork offensive line? This dated philosophy we've been following with rolling the dice and hoping for the best has gotten us 4 winning seasons. Forgive me if I'm tired of towing the company line.

It's not exactly "dated'. It's pretty common practice these days. Though truthfully, the Panthers have not been one of the teams that's done It a lot in the past. Won't surprise me if we do now though.

Yes, there are risks. Name me an aspect of football that doesn't involve risk.

You have to think long term. You don't panic and throw money at a veteran early because you're scared of losing one game.

@josephperson38s

Rivera says decision to cut Hangartner was to give young guys a chance. No plans to bring in a veteran free agent

Seriously? do we want our offense to die?

GM wants coach and QB to win or allow him the chance to build HIS team. He is going to hold off on offensive investments until after this year.....then he will know what direction to invest.

Ginn and Hixon and a project G aren't investments. Barner was a pick for when he parts with DT next year

It's possible.

I won't scream either way. I feel pretty confident it will be addressed. It's just the when and the how that are in question.

Its not like they can't see what the line looks like.

Us Pinto drivers look down on you with utter derision.

I used to drive a brown pinto station wagon - my friends all called it the " rattlebox" cause it sounded like somebody shaking  a box full of loose parts every time you went over a bump or hit a pothole
