The ball spin for Smith has become routine after every big catch. Seems to me it's done more for fans than a taunt, at least most of time.

not sure why it's an issue for smith...over the past few seasons, he's been ball spinning away from the defender(s) he's burned.

Mitchell tosses down Barner at end of long run. Barner not happy. Neither is Rivera, Who is giving Mitchell an earful.

 

 

i don't want to see barner get hurt...but at the same time, he needs to take the lumps without whining. taking a beating and still performing only increases his stock by answering questions about his durability at his questionable size.

 

he also needs to realize, the more he complains and especially if he has the coach standing up for him, the more likely the defense won't hesitate to take a shot at him when the opportunity arises.
