B. Moore may be off the market soon...

The problem is if Moore wants a multi-year deal and the Panthers obliged, that would make it impossible to re-sign Hardy. There is no way Moore (who I believe graded out as the fourth best right guard) would come cheap.

At the end of the day, I'd rather have the Kraken.

But I get your point, the right guard position is just brutally bad and it needs to be addressed with someone better than the likes of Chris Scott.

I think they might just be waiting for Wharton to except a vet minimum contract.

If we continue to neglect the offensive line, we're gonna have the best pass rush ever on losing team. We can succeed without Hardy by generating pressure with CJ and Short and Alexander. We can't succeed if Cam is running for his life.

i actually kind of want to see garry williams's performance with the first team in the preseason before automatically slating him as backup material. we need depth for sure but i can't help but wonder if someone as talented as gettleman simply sees something different to believe the line is better than advertised.

Moore only has at best three years left... Hardy could potentially have up to eight more years left.

So do you want a rental in Moore or a long drawn out career from Hardy.

It has taken us quite a while to get a solid defensive line, there's no reason to piss it away right now.

You can get a cheaper rental while addressing the guard and tackle position in next years draft.

Edit: Forget everything I just said, it was based on Moore signing a multi-year deal rather than a one year deal.

For those who think our OL is garbage...

Yes they definatly arent the best, but when we started leaning in a more traditional stance torwards the end of last season, they looked good and we did well as a team.

We didnt rely on routes that took too much time to develop, and we didnt run out of shotgun nearly as often. Despite our O-line looking thin, we did well.

Add in Kalil, and Bell, ( if im correct they didnt finish the year ) and a seasoned Amini, we should pick up where we left off last season, and the O-line situation isnt as big as we think.

At the end of the day, Gettleman has our back!

We started running more, they did better with run blocking but they still sucked at pass blocking.
