What Seahawks fans are saying...

A lot Seattle fans realize last season they beat us 16-12 in Seattle, and they realize we are improved and it's at BOA stadium.

Seahawks fans be treading lightly.

It was in Charlotte.

Close game.

The Panthers have improved, but there is also now an entire seasons worth of game tape for Rivera to look at and develop a defensive strategy for.

Last time we met, Wilson had only played 3 games and Kuechly had not yet come full speed.

I stole your part about new OC vs new DC, I'm sure they'll write that off as a huge win for them, but it could be the most intriguing match up of the game.

Literally everyone had them as the surprise team.

I here you but I disagree. They were in the playoffs the previous year so surprise is an over statement. Analyst expected an improvement from a Seattle team that made the playoffs with a losing record (7-9) but no one expected the offensive blowouts they had toward the end of the 2012 season. They beat the 49ers by like 35 points and scored 50 points 3 or 4 times. No one projected that.

No one projected Russell Wilson to be the offensive rookie of the year or for the Hawks to blow out so many teams.

What I am getting at is you never know what is gonna happen in the NFL. So no one know what the Panthers will do in 2013.

I loved the fact that every one thinks all of a sudden we have no offense. I wonder what they gonna say when the offense is still tearing poo up and the defense is shutting poo down. We dont have the right Gatorade on the sidelines to drink during timeouts?

I do too. If we put up points this year we will be hell to deal with. Tired of the blatant disrespect analyst give us because we didn't have a sexy draft class. I guess if we drafted Tavon we would be a surprise to contend for a playoff spot.

I actually did predict Russ Wilson as the breakout player of the year and the Hawks to go 10-6 (they finished 11-5), and I know I'm not the only one. I think a lot of people expected that team to be really solid.

    • Incorrect, I have watched us consistently over quite a number of years. When I say Cam relied on athleticism, I simply mean his dual threat style and athleticism overshadowed the deficiencies in the passing game (his own or those created by the system).  Now I wouldn’t disagree that our OCs over that time were not amazing and arguably held him back, but correct me if I’m wrong, Cam had a habit of locking onto his receivers and overthrowing them. Gettleman even drafted two big receivers - Kelvin Benjamin and Devin Funchess - to give Cam receivers with a big catch radius.  Again, correct me if I’m wrong, but Cam had some mechanical issues. For example, the reliance on arm strength over touch and his footwork often led to him throwing off the back foot. There were many debates on these boards about his mechanics, with far more knowledgeable posters than I braking down what he needed to improve on. End of the day, I was as big a Cam fan as the next person, but he did have his shortcomings as a passer. Had he played under someone like Sean McVay or a similar offensive guru, with a high quality QB coach, then I’m sure they would have ironed out the kinks and he would have been far more dangerous and successful than he was. And that’s a scary thought of what he could have been under the likes of a McVay!
    • It's true that we are not scoring at a much higher clip than the Saints. They're averaging ~18.4 with Shough and in that same span we're averaging ~19, so pretty close, despite Bryce having better TD numbers over that period. Both our teams are a far, far cry from the NFL average of 23.3...
    • I like when this big kat is going crazy panther fan and not the pat jersey betting against persona.
