Yep, I was reading all this poo about how he is a solid number two. Truth is he sucks balls, big black hairy ones. I remember his best play of his career, that 91 TD pass vs the bucs. Old man Smitty had to come from behind to get a block for him or that slow ass tortoise would have been tackled.

I think it's DB. This same exact game plays out with competent corners, and we win. We have a brilliant front 7 that will dominate games, but behind them are corners who should not see playing time outside the preseason.

Shula's playcalling wasn't the problem this game, he did exactly what you should do against a depleted top 3 defense in the heat after traveling cross country. Execution was the problem

If we fielded a better OL our WR would get open at some point. It happens with other teams, still both need to be priority next year. Look at what getting a DT has done for us.

Also, Carolina intentionally used that #2 WR to matchup Olsen and Smith against certain DBs. They wanted the 2 schemed out of plays bc it took Sherman out

I agree. smith has been by himself for a few yrs, and the panthers have done nothing to help him. you need more than 1 wr.
