Clean up special teams spacing and teaching the concept of coming back inbounds AS FAST AS POSSIBLE.

Catching the ball. I'm looking at you Thor.

Roll Cam out on 3rd and short more. If no open WR, he just runs.

Maybe Cam can dive a time or two when he is close to the down marker.

Avoid the big pass when the QB gets out of the pocket.

A 3rd receiver steps up.

take the shackles off Cam legs and big arm

Use DWill more as a reciever since Cam short yardage has improved

Target Ginn / be more aggressive downfield

use Cam and Tolbert on short yardages for first downs

Start Norman

Stop being so conservative shula /Rivera

Play mistake free. They have a long ass time to prepare our guys in every aspect of the game.

There should be no penalties other than the occasional BS calls every team gets. Smith's penalties were a direct reflection of our coaching staff.

Hold on to the football. Take care of the football. Be smart.

The punt return is one of the most frightening plays in football, and can completely shift the momentum. Same with fumbling the football.

We need to use some more tricky plays. Not necessarily read option stuff but we need to get more players involved in different ways.

We need to go for it on 4th down and 1/inches if its anywhere beyond our 40.

Too much made of Cam not going deep.....this was the Seattle secondary. There weakness is the short stuff in the middle....and Cam went there.

Last season with crazy Chud he accounted for 16 more passing yards and Olsen wasn't dropping stuff all over.

How about no special teams turnovers or fumbling when we are about to score.....correct that.

    • I dont think people realize how hard it is to find a consistent starting QB in the NFL. Byrce will not heart us to a SB but I do think he can manage to get us one or close..go all in on defense and change the Offensive passing game and play calls. I really think our biggest problem is our HC.  Take New Orleans QB for example, switch him and Bryce and I promise you it'll look similar or worse. New Orleans OC is levels ahead of Canales. And as far as the draft goes, in this division with as much rb talent as we face ..the answer...this guy:    Pick up a couple edge rushers in FA along with a corner and plug this guy in Rozeboom's spot. Defense solved. But only if we get a top tier rusher on that dline....jus saying
    • I think I'm going to the game in Los Angeles vs Paraguay, and the England / Croatia game here in Dallas since my mom is British.  For decent seats anywhere in the building(s) it looks like it will be upwards of $7k for the two games.  Insane. Just for perspective, you could buy field level EPL tickets for any one of the top sides in the league, and it would be 10% of the price you'll pay for crappy seats at the World Cup.
    • Meh… I knew this thread would turn into a Bryce/Tua comparison, when they couldn’t be further apart situations.   Dolphins catered there whole offense toward Tua, they brought in a coach that would run a Tua friendly offense, the went in got the best most explosive WR in the NFL and paired him the fastest WR in that years draft. Panthers have done the opposite, they went and got a Pete Carroll disciple who likes to run the ball under center, they drafted big slow WR who got little separation in college. Literally the polar opposite of Bryce’s scouting report coming out of Alabama.   Tua was a decent QB 2 years ago, but the concussions, lack of movement have caught up to him. He never had a great arm to begin with but now since he doesn’t want to get hit he’s taking the whole offense down with him.
