Games coached by even merely ADEQUATE coaches, they call plays on offense that successfully set up plays called later in the drive and even later in the freakin' game.

The coaches of the so-called "young guns" from last year seem to have a love affair with their QBs and the skills that they possess and are EAGER to call plays to take advantage of those skills.  I guess that's a big reason why most "experts" think those QBs are better than Cam.  It really has nothing to do with the ability and skill-sets of the QBs in question, it has more to do with the better USE of those QBs.

Things that, frankly, I don't see on the Carolina side of the field.

If our coaches want to use our giant, duel threat QB who is one of the best down field passers in the league to hand off and throw 10 yard outs then we should blindly support them.  Surely they have a good reason to ignore the best qualities of our QB while forcing him to do the things at which he is least effective.  Good for them!  Go team!  Blah, blah blah!

Other teams make bone headed plays but the good teams overcome them. No way the 49ers would swap Kap for Cam.

are you serious lol cam wit that oline would be scary no biased either..

Kap has nowhere near Cams ability just us better coached / has a better offense wit a offensive minded HC grooming him

Russ, Luck and Cam the best young QBs imo

I agree that Cam would look much better on the 49ers. Is he more gifted than Kap, Luck, RG3, and Wilson, yep. Is he smarter at game management and picking apart a defense...I don't think so. Again that could be coaching and offensive scheme.  At some point he has to win where he is at. He has to take the game over, and fire his team up to make plays. I don't see that fire in him any longer. That IMO, is because he is playing in a system he doesn't like. He is going through the motions now. I hope he can come back.

exactly imagine Cam on the 49ers they'd be the NFC Patriots..

Cam suffering from terrible coaching...and its why he's thought to be regressing when he has very little help/not well coached.

I feel sorry for Cam being stuck with this team for another year. Cam on the 49ers would be an unfair disadvantage to every team in the NFL. It makes me sick to see goofy ass loose neck Kaepernick get all they hype when he is an inferior player. Reminds me of the Emmitt Smith is better than Barry Sanders argument smh

A lot of the time its the luck of the system you get drafted into. With the new breed QBs who are threats to run and pass, Cam is at a disadvantage as he has only had throwback coaches who prefer pocket passing systems. A great coach adapts to his players strengths, while ours ignore them. The Panthers think the scheme is greater than the players, which gets the results we have had for so many seasons. Gettleman  wants a throw back system, its what he knows being with the Giants. He wants a Manning pocket passer, pound the ball, and great defense.

I believe that is coaching. Kap has the advantage of having a successful starting NFL QB as his head coach. I can bet money that Harbaugh is talking to Kaepernick all the way up until the time line of scrimmage or whenever they cut off the radio. Harbaugh is telling him if you get this, then do this; but if you get that, do that.
