watched the highlight video above and I must say this game has Luke kuechly all over it. There oline is not as good as Seattle's. And the patriots dline is not as good as ours. No way I see them putting up points against us. Unless Ej throws a prayer in the air or we leave someone wide open. There only option to beat us is throwing the ball. Cause if they wanna run the ball that poo is gonna get shut down. I change my prediction from us winning 17-10 to 24-6

i remember seeing him throw a deep pass right on the money only to have some bum receiver drop it.

 

it wasn't stevie johnson, but he's a huge bum as well.

Our defense doesn't really perform well against quick throws. I don't think this is the game to experiment with starting Josh "10 yard cushion" Normal to give up 8 slants in a row like against Chicago.

We played screens and short dump offs well preseason. That's why I say Luke has a big game or one of our linebackers. We have got better breaking down on the ball this year with the LB corps. Watching there game now and they rely a lot on those short dump offs

Seemingly good footwork.

 

Accurate on short routes with some touch.

 

Big arm, but is only looking at 2 reads....I think.

 

We will have to play them tight, and not sure if we have the talent to do so.

 

TD will have to be a spy type player on the RB's, Jackson will not be a problem for him, but Spiller could be.

He looked pretty damn good for his first game.  They ran the ball very well though.  Let's see what happens when he's forced to pass.

Screen passes worry me. Their rushing attack is very formidable but our D line and LB core are top notch. Again, as we all know our secondary is the only question mark. I saw some good plays from them on Sunday, then they screwed up badly. Inconsistent. This is going to come down to who fugs up less. I hate to say it. Since the Offense is not running on all Cylinders yet. Either the O makes a statement or we will be bitching about them and making fire rivera threads come half time.

Last game was about defense this game is on the offense. We need to get out to an early lead and force EJ to throw it down the field and take away their running game.

Shula this isn't the game to be conservative. We can score on buffalo.

I like the scheme they run. Alot of easy throws. 2 players attacking short on crossing routes almost every play and 1-2 mid and deep with the RB on man killers out of the back field. Lots of options and hard for the defense to defend properly. Pick your poison. The good thing is EJ is a rook and will try to force things. 

 

Anyone else notice EJ's footwork? Pretty nice. 

 

Someone needs to make a Cam video like that of SEA game.

I think this weekends meltdown will be OMG what happened to our DL. Buffalo is trying to build a quick pace offense.....this isn't Baltimore or Seattle. There offense is designed to give DLs less opportunities.
