Holy SH&T! Mike Irvin goes off on Brady being a little Bitch!

Irvin basically calls him out for being a little diva and not leading his guys.  Constantly pitching fits and throwing up his hands. Deon and Marshall agreed and Marriuichi of course fed the, Oh hes just frustrated and hes just a competitor, lol blah blah blah.

So this morning on NFL AM Eric Davis goes even further, bringing up how some guys, i.e. CAM! and he obligatorily throws in cutler lol, are not given a pass for the behavior. He basically alludes that we are finally seeing his true character because before he has never had to actually coach up and lead someone. Steve Wyche jumps in and goes off as well. Both men THINLY veiling the true reason behind the "double standard" that is in play here.

and then Jeff garcia of course repeats the same  blah blah "brady is god" b/s.

Eric Davis ends his segment with 19 of 39 for 178 is now a Tom Brady day,  and he has to deal with it.

I would love to transcribe the whole 10 minute Convo, but my wife brought my 6 week old baby for me to hold and I had to type the last half of this with one hand.

Basically my point is Tom Brady wouldn't do this to Wes, or even Randy Moss or someone. But a couple of rookies, yeah he can destroy them alright. Goes straight to his character.

Bottom line is the media gives him a pass.  It is not just because he is winning. it is because he is MARKETABLE.

Now, Cam is too. Maybe even more so, but Cam wont do it through NFL or ESPN.  Notice how he almost NEVER does extra interviews. He did the couple of sit downs where the questions are always rehearsed and scripted. My personal opinion is Cam grew a serious distaste for the media through all the character, intelligence and ability attacks he suffered before he ever took a snap. Whoever does the interviews and thus makes them money is a rewarded. Whoever doesn't is well, ostracized. Case in point Cutler v Ben.  Ben rapes some women, but does good interviews, is polite and gives them what they want. Cutler is generally a good guy off the field, keeps to himself stays outta trouble but is un-contrite with the media.  One is villanized and the other is exalted.

I don't want to beat around the bush. I do feel that their may be a racial element to this with Cam. But ULTIMATELY I believe that the real reason is because the media is just an evil, evil place with no morals. They have no trouble doing anything to increase viewership which ultimately increases the coffers.

p.s.  Fug Brady and his cheating ass! Im glad they caught him spraying that poo on his hands and I hope he gets burned for it.

Fug the Patriots and their cheating ass! wont be any championships this year!!

Fug Bill Belicheat and his cheating ass! how does it feel you arrogant prick.

the media benefits from creating good guy/bad guy storylines because it sells. deliberate misrepresentations will result in all kinds of collateral damage, and we see the effects of it all the time.

solution: embrace it, and they will just as happily embrace the story of the bad guys dominating and winning superbowls. fug 'em.

I thought brady's comment about needing to learn about controlling his emotions was a wtf moment, like how long has he been in this league that he still needs to learn to lead his teammates better and control his emotions. He was acting like a damn girl on the field. As you said it goes to how brady is treated differently by the media. Brady has been coddled like crazy.

What did he spray on his hands?

It was hard to tell. I personally saw it and thought it was a lidocaine spray, like he had hit his knuckles on a helmet or something and was in pain. The commentators immediately thought it was some kind of "Stick'um" product because it was raining. He was spraying the backside of his hand though, so I don't think that makes sense. Whatever...

QB's like Brady are control freaks. Call him a baby if you want but he's demanding perfection from his WR's. They still won the game but  if his WR's made the plays they should have it would have been game over much earlier. That's why Brady was pissed. We just aren't used to seeing that in Carolina because we never had a dynasty.

I think Brady can be a little btch sometimes too but this is football. You are supposed to do your damn job. It's not rec league where everyone gets trophies. You think a SB winning QB and head coach are going to put up with anything less?

    • I mean I just don't understand the argument. Baker and Sam both have been pro bowl QBs post their time here. And you just said yourself that is due to him having a damn good roster around him and they are well coached. You're even saying the bad baker is still there somewhere, but he is in a good organization with good roster and coaching that they are getting the best out of him. Why does Baker and Sam get all that benefit of the doubt but when it comes to Bryce it must be a BY9 problem, not an org or team problem?  Hell I got a guy below you arguing with me that Chark/Hurst/Mingo sucked because Bryce wouldn't throw them open. It's ridiculous how far the stretch goes.
    • Correct.  It’s really hard to get open in the NFL when opposing defenses gameplan and cheat coverage/routes on all your players because they know your QB can’t make certain throws/plays.   magically no one that comes to Carolina can get open or make plays with the ball in their hands…..it’s like there is one singular common dominator to it all.  BY makes playing defense way too easy.   NFL players are too good to allow one side to cheat coverage and not respect all the potential threats of a route  so you can dial up a great play.  But if corners and safeties just cheat coverage and know X and Y happening on route/threats….getting open gets hard when they just play it one way.  Getting open has a lot to do with the different threats a WR can pose on a given play.
    • Kinda depends how you look at it both were 3rd round draft pics.  Nico was nothing before stroud and tank came in with stroud.  If both were on the panthers would young have them doing well and starting or would their stats be low.  I really dont know the answer to that.  None of the panthers wrs have left and did well either but personally i feel neither of nico or tank would do much on the panthers.
