the easiest game on the schedule was buffalo.

losing to them, esp. in that way, was almost as embarrassing as getting swept by the bucs.

just because the schedule looks a bit easier overall for a few weeks doesn't mean that we don't have rivera managing the game and shula calling the offense.

buffalo may have been an easy win in years past I'm not so sure thats the case this year. teams cant stay bad forever.

they aren't bad, they just aren't good, especially missing Byrd and Gilmore only scoring 23 is a bad sign.  IF we were good, we would have figured out how to put more points up.

i have a feeling that people are going to be using this rationale a lot to justify losses.

wait....they already have been.

"the other team practices, too."

"the other team gets paid, too."

oye.

it was a game that we should have won. just like all those other games that we had a lead in the 4th.

buffalo was one of the easiest, if not the easiest game on the schedule, much like the chiefs last year, and we gave them the game.

i don't expect much more this year than that. we'll get a few games, but enough to get even a winning schedule? nah.

they were without their two best CBs and how did we do offensively?

where were the WRs not named steve smith?

i know that ginn was usually somewhere out there getting overthrown somewhere, but lafell? hixon? armanti?

lol. we couldn't do jack against their backups. that is sad, but should be surprising considering we couldn't do jack against seattle's backups on the DL.

Don't even know why Armanti is on the team.  Wasting a spot Gettis should have been given, but it wouldnt matter anyway.

Our schedule, in no way gets easier. Quite the opposite.

I smelled a 7-9 season before our year begun. I'm starting to smell 4-12. Bridgewater?

And exactly what are we going to do with two QBs? After watching Bridgewater against Kentucky, I'd take Cam 999 times out of 950 chances. Overrated hack who is rather good at chexking down but once he smells pressure he's flustered.

Why the hell would you want him? Riddle me that.

Your 4-12 prediction? No one cares what you have or have not predicted.

    • I was playing around with the ESPN playoff predictor and it shows if 49ers and Rams finish with same record, the Rams hold the tiebreaker.
    • This is my thinking as well. Seattle played as good as they could on defense and Panthers still had a chance until those back to back turnovers.  I don't think the Rams played particularly well in their game against us, alot things went our way in order to win.  Someone pointed out the Rams were bad on the east coast road games and Seattle has been the better road team but they just fought a hard contested game against the Panthers, and now they travel to San Fran this week for their biggest game of the season to determine the division and if they are the overall #1 seed in the NFC or will be traveling for the Wildcard weekend.  If they lose they then travel back cross the country to play a team they've just beaten two weeks ago, not saying they won't be favored against the Panthers but the energy of hosting our first playoff game in 10 years along with the get back effect of having just lost to this team could be huge.
    • I don’t know about shadowing and all that, but according to this, whatever we are doing is working
