In come the abstract 'can't read defense' argument to a guy who averages, 325yards/game and over 30 attempts. Good one, buddy!

And this wasn't an RG3 vs Cam debate. The debate was about the undermining of his stats. Which is ridiculous. Don't include Luck in your argument. So far he hasn't shown anything but a game manager. If Luck is that good why not unleash(ala skip) him on the league. Really!

Wait a minute?

You're quoting the 0-3/non competitive RG3's stats; where most where accumulated in Ultra Garbage time (i.e. by the second quarter/first half was over), as justification how/that he's a good passer? And as if that detracts from our High School Offense (last year), Uber/Early Garbage time claims, this year. SMH

Wow (Gobsmacked)!!

Whoooooa KKKK!

You don't get it.

Many of us thought/knew RG3 didn't really look so great LAST YEAR. Even Redskins fans early in the season, were saying "stop playing this high school offense" to Shanahan, until they started miraculously winning.

RG3 did not play in a pro set last year. It was [literally] a high school offense. Did you watch, understand it?

The few times RG3 didn't have to hit a wide open receiver on a timing route, he looked jittery. The same can be said for Kaep. Happy feet.

This is why many of us, extolled the virtues of Cam, Luck, Wilson and  even Tannehill, over those other two LAST Year.

This has nothing to do with how RG3 and Kaep are playing now. They have talent. Hopefully they will play better. But this is not (pardon the pun) Monday Night Quarterbacking. This was discussed last year, during their rookie seasons, by fans that actually watched their games.

ROY just like Cam. shut case.

I wasn't sure if this was a troll account or not until this post.

Not bad.  Not bad trolling at all.

A QBs' job is to make assist. Their performance is dependent on someone catching their assist. John Stockton can tell you that much. Is John Stockton the best bball player ever? Nope.

So, being a gifted passer who almost always complete 65% of your passes is not that much different from someone who is not gifted but was coached well enough to complete 60% of their passes. An AJ Green or Calvin Johnson(or a great OL) can make all the difference in the world. T.Brady can school you on that. His numbers is not that great without his receivers, is it now? lol

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I've ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response was there anything that could even be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I'm not saying he looks great, but I'm sure RG3 is not the first QB who ever start slow in a game. So the game against the eagles with 9:15 left down 33-20 in the 4th with a redskin possession is considered uncontested? Why didn't the eagles pull their starter? Were they running the score? Or maybe RG3 was putting up those numbers against 3rd stringer to pad his stat. Come on, now! I don't wanna hear between the numbers story. 325 yards/game 63% comp. is good no matter what standard. Teams don't take their foot off the gas. That's what the 3rd stringers are for. Teams don't play soft with their starters because it risks injuries.

I don't think you have watched any of the Redskins games and just looked at the box scores.

The Eagles were up 30+ points and conceded little 8 yard passes.

Once the score did get to 33-20 and the Eagles tightened their defense up again the Redskins went out on downs. By the time they got the ball back the Eagles once again was conceding short throws to try to make the Skins use up time.

They had literally zero meaningful scoring drives.

It wasn't a slow start it was a no show.

Russell Wilson got robbed. How the fug do you give the Roy award to somebody who didn't play the whole season. And his damn back up came in and beat the Ravens for him. No to mention beating the browns throwing for more passing yards in that game than RG3 had in any game all season. Kirk Cousins deserves a 1/4 of that award.

so 1980s. The point rodgers is not that much better at throwing the football than other comparable QBs of his peers. Comparing his throwing ability to another QB is not blasphemy because supporting cast is as important.

Thank you *takes bow*

I don't hate RG3. Not at all. I thought he should be rookie of the year last season.

I still think he is going to be good. The closest I have come to being critical if RG3 was that before the season I thought he was the most likely to have a sophomore slump because I don't think he is healthy.

I don't think he is healthy. Or he is really rusty. But the truth if you actually watched the games is he has played poorly. Or at least he did the first two games. I haven't seen the third game yet so I don't really have an opinion on that game.

But it isn't hate, I think he is great when healthy. It is just the truth.
