Does Arizona have D. Washington back by the time they play us? I have respect for that defense.

It would appear we have a shot, but I really don't want to think about playoffs or being over .500. I just want them to win the next game. Looking far ahead it could go for us or against us. We've played one good opponent (Seattle). We will from the looks of it now, be getting teams when they might have good players returning from suspension or injury and unfortunately the Saints D seems legit this time around. It's gonna be a battle.

I like the unpredictability I've seen with the teams so far because it makes any game seem winnable, but that can work for us or against us..

I don't care if people think I am naive or a homer or stupid for talking playoffs.

I like feeling good about my team. I like searching for optimism. I like hope.

I think being a negative nancy is just a defense mechanism by a fanbase that is used to disappointments. If you expect the worst than the team can no longer hurt you. If they lose that is what you expected if they win you are pleasantly surprised.

Some of us are like that person who fell in love with someone, then they cheated on you, so you try to tell all your buddies "Oh I never liked her anyway" even though we all know you cried in your pillow for two days. Then you sabotage every future relationship just so no one can ever break your heart again.

Not me. I am a optimist. I believe in hope. And whenever the Panthers provide me with moments that give me hope I embrace it. Maybe they will hurt me again. I don't know

But maybe, just maybe this time it will work out. If it doesn't there will be plenty of time for mourning and reflection. But for now there is a chance that this will be a brighter day. And I choose to enjoy the optimism instead of fear the pain.
