Using new pick for Britt or McKinnie? Someone else?

I wouldn't want to give up a pick for either to be honest.  People are falling in love with the player that McKinnie was and the prospect that Britt was.  McKinnie is no longer a starting caliber OT and Britt is a head case.  He looked like a guy poised to breakout after '10, but it just never happened.  I wouldn't be opposed to giving him a chance as a free agent, but I wouldn't want to have to trade for him.

Stop the the knee jerk reactions. Lets just see it play out. I think the pick is undisclosed because its a conditional pick perhaps.

Exactly.  These types of trades usually do include a conditional pick based on starts, snaps played, etc.  We need to all be rooting for Jon Beason, not just because of the player he was for us and the impact he had here, but his success (or lack thereof) in NY will probably directly impact the pick we ultimately receive.

Would honestly rather trade our original pick and do seriously doubt we'd trade a conditional pick.  I love having picks in every round, but what are the odds 8 drafted players from the 2014 draft make the roster?

At least we can use the pick to possibly move up a little in the 4-5th round range.

From what we've been hearing, it may well be a conditional pick.  It's a tough sell to trade a conditional pick you're getting from one team to another.

Regardless, Gettleman seems more the type to trade for picks rather than trading them away.

And honestly, McKinnie doesn't interest me much.  Britt even less so.

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
