If Shula's play calls are so moronic, why don't we just audible?

The coaches say we are audibling on about 70% of our offensive plays this season.

If so, this means that only 30% of the plays we actually run are Shula's calls.

I have heard many complaints about Shula's "slow developing pass plays".

Why don't we audible out of those "slow developing pass plays" when the blitz is recognized or suspected?

because shula makes a cup of tea before getting the playcall in so when the offense breaks huddle and lines up they've got one fifth of a second to get the ball off in time and there's no time to make adjustments

maybe cam was alluding to this in his presser when he talked about picking up the tempo.

Shula?  Does Shula make Byron Bell sometime completely miss blocks.  Does Shula make SS, Lafell and Olsen consistently drop balls?  Does Shula fail to stop anyone when we really need it?

I love Cam, love this team but thanks to NFL rewind and the coaches film, you can see that our team is not good.   Blame coaches all you want.  I want to blame Rivera as well if but to change the culture but we kill ourselves every week.

So to put it plainly,

When Arizona started blitzing there were dump downs and open recievers and Cam didn't recognize them

Anything more than a 5 step (5 count) Bell couldn't hold his block on most occasions.

Our team drops the easiest passes.

Can you kindly post a link to this, I'll like to take a look at it.

Also they were saying in the last game that shula gives the call to dorsey, then dorsey gives the call to cam. Is that necessary? Is that normal? Seriously....can shula not give the call straight to the QB? No wonder our tempo is so awful.

Tim Ryan, the color commentator for FOX, said it on air yesterday. He said Rivera stated that Newton was changing the play at the line around 70% of the time. The quote was clearly Rivera taking up for Newton. I have no idea if it is the truth.
