Today the Panthers square off against the Vikings, who are also 1-3.

 

Its a battle so see who has hope and who has the draft to look forward too.

 

 

Who: Carolina Panthers at Minnesota Vikings

 

Where: Mall of America Field

 

When: 1:00

 

Keys to a Panthers Victory:

 

1. Contain Adrian Peterson in what will be an emotional game for him.

2. Dominate the Quarterback. The Vikings do not have a starting caliber QB, make sure they are reminded of that often.

3. Cam needs to run for first downs. Cam runs great on turf, he needs to showcase that today in 2011 Cam fashion.

4. Eliminate special teams mental mistakes. From illegal formations to fumbles, it all needs to end today.

NFL network and ESPN acting as if Peterson raised the baby.

Mentions that he took off practice Thursday to see his son, but then choose not to mention he flew back that night and wasn't even there when they pulled the plug on Friday.

I'm going into this game with the mindset that we still have a chance to turn this year into playoffs....but sadly I fear this outcome will be the same ole, same ole.

I'll be at the stadium next Sunday against the Rams.

It would be nice to come in there after a win in Minnesota.

Sadly, one thing this thing has proved it can't do is a win a game.

My heart says Panthers 24-21; but, my head says Viking 31-17.

The Panthers simply pull defeat from the jaws of victory so often that they've gotten good at it.

I'm in Orlando for the week, the first panthers game I won't get to watch live in a long time.

Go to the Ale House on International Dr. There are actually 4 or 5 Ale House's in the greater Orlando area. Tons of TVs. Awesome food and beer specials. Probably 80 or so on tap. The chicken nachos are fantastic and provide enough to feed about 8 people.
