1) Better than record indicates - loss to two good teams by less than 6 points total

2) Cam gets hotter as season goes on - and he's pretty stinking hot right now

3) Managable schedule - 2 falcons, 1 bucs, AFC east

We could very well be un defeated right now.

We know what happend at baffalo, with seattle. Could have won bith with the subtraction of two plays total.

At Arizona, we had multiple chances to put the game away. Drops drops drops. We would have went up on them, helping our momentum, depleting theirs.

We have a good team folks. 11-5 10-6 here we come. Lookin at you saints, yall can have the wildcard spot, if that.

As far as our schedule is concerned, I'm not giving the 9ers or the Saints anything.

As well as we are playing, I think the 9ers game is 50/50 at worse and I don't see the Saints sweeping us.

I know the fan in me is clawing out, but I think we could go 13 - 3.

Let the Saints fans worry about a wildcard, the playoffs are going to go through Carolina :)

Seattle: Was a very evenly matched game.

Buffalo: As I said, we were on the road and playing a Buffalo team early in the season. And the old Rivera of not finishing off an opponent with a 1st down.

The Arizona game is much like what happened to the Bengals last night. Turnovers/sloppy play ON THE ROAD and if you let a 'lesser' team hang around you can lose.

And this is the Panthers.....even under Fox (2002) and Seifert (2001) this team had the most amazing losses. So I will never underestimate any Panther opponent ever. We need to beat down Atlanta early to demoralize them.

    • I mean I think its a bit disingenuous to call basically anyone here a casual fan. I don't think the casual fan creates a profile then logs into it, in the offseason, to comments on mundane offseason topics.. I dont think anyone on here would be considered a casual fan. That said, I get your point. My POV is from the player. They sign this contract, move their family because of these contracts. When Clowney came him, we basically had a coming home party for him.  So yeah, I get why we did it and I know that ultimately the owner doesnt 'save' money, but I can feel for the human side of the player, which is why I want them to get all they can while they can.
    • My guess is the NBA will either send Flagg back “home” to the Northeast in Brooklyn or Washington, or San Antonio so that they can keep building around Wemby. If I was a betting man I would take the odds on the Spurs. This definitely feels like a #1 pick that they will rig.
    • In fairness, she is ensuring she is talked about.  People really aren’t going out there way to bring her up.  It’s some weird poo.  She would end up getting talked about given her actions if she was 40. Bill realizing some of these high end “companions” got a game of their own.  That’s what I don’t think Bill saw coming.
