Cracking the top 10

All the teams on our schedule that many thought we had no chance against are proving to be beatable.

SF falls under the same category as we do.  Wins coming against inferior opponents.   However, both of their losses were huge nasty defeats.

New England and New Orleans if you pressure the QB they are VERY Beatable.

Jets away from home are average

Miami is reeling but they cannot be over looked.

Atl and TB gotta beat the teams you are supposed to beat.

Atlanta in week 17 is going to be crucial if we are 9-6.  They would love nothing more than to knock us out of the playoffs.

If we can go 5-3 with 2 loses that could easily be wins, no reason to believe we can't go 5-3 again.

We will be 10-6 at least.

Should be the #2 seed at 7-1 right now. Its kinda funny cause its like an investment that we made with the football gods. If we managed to win against baffalo by kicking a field goal and holding them on D, the straw would have never broken the Camel's back for Rivera. He might still be that over conservative guy with no balls.

Because we paid the price and lost, it gave way to many more wins in the long run. Here's to hoping we got the frustrating loses out of the way and done with this season.

I am with you.  I sat back pissed off at the world saying "Here We Fugging Go Again"

It was nice to see him realize he had the team to be aggressive with.  Win with your offense not your defense.

What is amazing is.  Our defense has always been pretty solid except that drive by Buffalo.

News flash, if we were 7-1 we'd be sitting at number one. Just assuming you are talking about wins against Seattle and Buffalo.

    • One thing I didn’t consider is how thin this draft is at quarterback. That’s going to drive up the market for backups and borderline starters like Willis, Jones, and Jameis Winston. Because of that, we’ll most likely be priced out of the market for this tier of backup.
    • We've already beat the #1 seed twice, why not one more? (Packers and Rams were both #1 seed at the time we played)
    • My determination has come down to this. Based on recent QB history, has Bryce's improvement warranted 50m per season? Lamar is the only original team QB to play on his 5th year. The others took major deals at the end of the 3rd, before or just after the option was signed. Chances are, we're getting asked for the same.  I haven't rooted for Bryce to fail. I've rooted for him to succeed so big that them signing that extension would give me no worries about our future at QB at all. We haven't seen that level of play consistently that this year. We haven't seen it in the past 6 games.  We're about to be at a threshold with Bryce and I worry about what this front office will do. We have a history of bad decision making and Morgan has been part of that group making those decisions. I don't want Carolina in the same boat Arizona and Miami are right now. It has nothing to with being right. It has to do with wanting to win for more than a single season. We've never had back to back winning seasons. Faith in their abilities is not warranted at this point.
