Looking at NE. How will we fare against Brady if the front can't get any pressure?

If Kenbrell Thompkins can torch Darelle Revis for two touchdowns, Aaron Dobson burn both Ike Taylor and Ryan Clark for a long bomb, and drop 2 long touchdowns against Antonio Cromartie on Monday Night, and Danny Amendola have a good game against Seattle's secondary in the past with Sam Bradford throwing him the ball then there is no reason to believe that they couldn't get open one on one with Captain Munnerlyn or Drayton Florence during single coverage or down the field.  Only a fool would think that, telling you now cannot single cover these guys... At the end of the day I don't care what record Tampa Bay, Pittsburgh or New York have.. Ike Taylor, Darrelle Revis and Antonio Cromartie are still one of the best at what they do and they were all beat by Patriot receivers BEFORE Tom developed Chemistry, now that he has... if 1 on 1 happens, it could get ugly.

The Pats have not seen a defense even close to the Panthers.

I will say this VERRRRRY SLOWWWW for you Chowdah Heads.....The Niners gained a total of 4 yards the ENTIRE 4th quarter last week.

You will not run on us....and we will hit Brady.  That is a fact.  The question is how will YOU adjust to us.

Have you not seen how many turnovers our team has forced? Years of yall trading back to accumulate 3 smart but average players instead of taking top tier talent when you have the chance is catching up to you. The Pats have had 2 weeks to prepare for their last couple of Super Bowls, did not help them then, and it won't next Monday. Brady is still a great QB and if yall get the ball back with a chance to win in the last 2 mins we will all be nervous as hell. But great pass rushes give you fits and you are about to face one as well as a secondary that is not scared of any receiver on your team. AND your defense is pedestrian at best, We will run for a 150 yds minimum on you, and you will lose. It's ok though, you are still one of the best teams in the AFC, your just running into a buzzsaw

I respect the pats but I don't fear them if the Saints Defense could get pressure on him I know our Defense can't and we don't blitz as much as they do. I think we will let our front four do the most work with trying to get to him. And I said it before in another game I don't see our Offense playing like that again the 49ers Defense is not an easy team to score points on.

I think the reason Brady has been off has been the ability of the secondary to jam their wrs at the line of scrimmage. If we can do the same it gives our DL time to get to him. I am concerned about Gronk even with Davis and Luke on him.

That offensive line for New England is healthy now, amazing how half their roster was hurt but yet 7-2, now that they're healthy, on a bye with two weeks to prepare, that coach Dante Scar will have something cooked up for the front four more than likely.  Mankins and Solder for stretches dominated Geno Atkins and Demeto Peko.. those two big o-lineman like I said are fully healthy now.

Pats, like every season, are lucky to exist in one of the worst divisions in football.

Well they have in my opinion the best quarterback in football and the best coach in football.  That always helps.  And actually, I'll say those two are the best that I've ever seen, especially with what they've had to work with outside of 2007 over the years.  3 SBs, 5 SB appearences, 11 playoff seasons, 100 wins.. thats incredible

    • I said could, not would. I recognize he has potential based on past performance. Compared to what KP has done, Howell has more potential and the physical traits to make noise. KP has small hands and a weak arm. Not something you want in even your backup QB.  I've been hammering since last off-season before we re-signed Dalton, improve the room. Other than getting younger, I don't see how anyone can say we legitimately improved the room or even tried. We might as well have signed Josh Rosen.  Dalton is still on the roster for now. That's 3 QBs unless we trade or cut him. He's still Bryce's mentor after all. Do you believe we are going to draft someone with potential and give them a legitimate opportunity to develop from the practice squad? Are we going to carry 3 QBs on the active roster? 4 for a developmental rookie? Are we going to potentially cut KP if we draft a rookie and he's outperformed? Doubtful. Cutting Dalton(if we can't trade him) and KP would be 8m in wasted cap space.  I chose Howell as an example because he showed promise in his only full season as a starter. You could plug in another name with the physical traits and potential and what i said would still apply. KP showed almost nothing and was benched. I genuinely don't care if it’s rookie pick as long as there is the potential to develop into a future NFL QB.  As much as I can't stand him, Bellichek was always developing a number 2 QB even with the GOAT as his starter. The wisdom of that was evident when Cassell came in when Brady was hurt week 1 and went 11-5 and almost made the wildcard, which 11-5 gets you almost any other year. I give credit where it's due though. Cassel and Jimmy G both came into the league as developmental QBs, potential QB1s, and went on to have careers.  You never know if you never try. KP feels like a punt in addressing the most important position on the field. Bryce has never played 2 full games of franchise QB level football back to back.  If Bryce progresses, are you ready to offer a 280m 5 year extension based off a one hit wonder year? If Bryce regresses and we need a QB in 27, are we going to trade a fortune away again to trade up to 1 to get one? Are you ready to do the past 3 years all over again?  To me, it's not about Kenny Pickett. It's about the move itself. It was a feeble attempt to improve the QB room. We better hope Bryce succeeds, because if he doesn't, we literally have no backup plan right now.
    • IOL that early isn’t good value at all. We have a LT who might not ever be good again and a RT that might retire soon. T seems deep early in this draft, so I’d go there in the 1st.
    • Season tickets aren't affordable anymore definitely when they've been so bad for 8 years before last season. When I started going my seats were front row uppers for like 38 bucks. Those seats are 100 dollars now. Teams make their money from tv, if I was an owner my goal would be to break even on tickets and concessions.
