So 9-7 is our floor it seems..

Dolphins, Bucs and Falcons are 3 locks for a W. (Yea I know, "any given sunday" no win is guaranteed in the NFL yada yada) but lets be real, barring a catastrophe like Cam getting hurt or a freak accident that involves Keek, CJ, Star and Hardy all getting hurt, we can all pretty much agree those are 3 extremely winnable games..

So its safe to say 9-7 is our floor. The Jets I see as very winnable as well but not quite up there with a "sure win" like I would classify Miami, TB or Atlanta. So thats a very easy 10-6 if we also beat a very beatable Jets but just to play it conservative, i wont put the Jets a sure win like the other three teams. Split with the Saints AND/OR beat the Pats and we are looking at a real realistic 11-5/12-4 senario. But nonetheless, lets be real. 9-7 ATLEAST is a given and with the Bears and Packers reeling, we would get a WC even if we tie with them due to being 6-2 in the NFC (btw, we are up 2-3 games on everyone else in the NFC as far as NFC wins are concerned, we lead the NFC with a 6-2 record in the conference).

Again, 9-7 is our floor though and 10-6 or 11-5 is a lot more likely.

HEY ONE GAME AT A TIME!!! THE NEXT GAME IS MOST IMPORTANT BECAUSE IT'S THE NEXT ONE!!!

fug that poo im a fan. We have set ourselves up greatly. It would take some sort of epic breakdown to ruin this.

Agreed, I was shocked when I went to look at the standings and saw we are up three games pn nearly everyone in the NFC as far as NFC wins go.. In other words, a few weeks ago, getting a WC on a 9-7 record seemed like a impossibility, now it seems very possible seeing as how we lead the NFC with NFC wins and hold tiebreakers over everyone else, including San Fran.

I was looking at our remaining schedule and I agree with the OP. I see use beating MIA, TB, and ATL. The Jets I believe are a win simply because I don't see them moving the ball on our D at all (their biggest win was against a suspect NE defence). I think that 10-6 is our floor, but I could easily see 12-4 because I don't see us sweeping the Saints. I think that having the Patriots here on MNF will give us a huge advantage and help pump up our D. I also believe that we beat the Saints at home and lose to them in New Orleans, although we have had their number for a while, so we could sweep em. I am going to predict that we end the season 11-5, but I am hoping for 13-3!

The only reason anyone would be thinking of our floor.... And I have been guilty of this... Is because they're worried we are going to collapse. Long story short every game is independent of its own, it's own entity. We truly could be in a dogfight for a win with anyone on our schedule. We could finish 2-6... We just need to take one game at a time. You know there will be an epic collapse in a game that we don't see coming. This is the NFL. Be ready for it

    • I could smell this excuse coming. Any starter drafted after the 2nd is a bonus, not an expectation. Oh we need more offensive help because we spent so much on defense. We spent all that because we've barely drafted any defensive starters the last 5 years. The way I see it you'll get a better return on investment in defense than offense currently with this team. We proved that last year with just a modicum of investment in the defense. I'm not the biggest believer in Evero but I trust him more than Bryce.  The biggest factor holding the offense back wears #9. Accuracy is one of his strengths? 23rd in the league while being 30th in Y/A. Someone will claim we get no YAC but 49% of our yards were YAC which is higher than most teams in the league.  Unless he drastically improves you're going to get a bad return on investment. Yes TMac had a great rookie year but it wasn't exactly efficient volume wise. He has one of the worst catch % in the league at just 57%, probably related to that 23rd accuracy ranking.
    • If this team lets the Bucks or Bulls catch them, Charles Lee should be fired immediately and punched in the face by some random fan on the way to his car.
    • Bucks and Bulls have to try hard to tank and not take our play in spot at this point, still not mathematically eliminated I think but too tired to do the math, too close for comfort either way to close out the regular season in a drought
