The last four games against Talib

9 Yards

23 Yards

61 Yards

106 Yards

Someone do the math and tell me what's next in this sequence? 150?

Averaging out the increase in numbers, Steve will have 130.25 receiving yards.  Perfect logic.

I don't think Talib is a shadow one receiver type CB. Doesn't he stay on one side in their base defense? I could be wrong but I thought at least in TB he stayed on the left only.

Against NE, he went wherever Graham went, right?

steve smith has yet to be shutdown this whole season IMO, he's average over 50 yards majority of our games this season.............he himself has cause his own production to got down by this drops but i believe in smith he's going to have one heck of a 2nd half of the season, i still believe he will crack 1000 yards

Newton throws a high volume at 89.....and isn't elite anymore.

If they put Talib on him isn't taking Talib out of the game.....bc Cam will still try to complete balls to him. Means high odds for wasted downs or turnovers.

Yep agree...and that's the concern to me.

Find the open guy, not the comfortable guy...and I don't believe Bellinchek thinks Newton will find the 'open' guy.

I just think a heavy and effective run game solves a lot of this on all fronts.

3 fine RBs use them, over Receivers who aren't so fine in comparison.

It makes the play action believeable and buys Newton a few fractions of a second he needs.

Move the chains and score.

Personally, I'd love for Newton to have the game of his life Monday night...don't care if it is as a game manager, runner, thrower, whatever it is....but, I'm a fan.
