What coaches could we lose next year?

Pete Carmichael? Yeah, I probably would, honestly. Hell, even Aaron Kromer got a promotion to offensive coordinator, with a head coaching job looming his future.

Besides, it doesn't matter what any outsider has to say about it. Two guys in the locker-room, on the defense, have spoken out about it. Case closed.

Except it's people outside the organization who would be checking him out. And they may not find the players' opinions objective.

It's enough for you. Cool, but it might not be enough for someone looking to hand him the keys to their franchise.

First things first,

I wish severe finger cramps on OP.

Nobody is going anywhere until we get RINGS!!

Shula was a QB coach and had a bad wrap around the league (much less this board), beating SF won't change that perception, a SB win will.

McDermott is finally finding success after 3 hard years of work with this defense, I don't see him going anywhere because of what he's invested.

A ring would be payoff and a big payday for McD, he'll wait for at least one more year before heading to a poor franchise for a more modest payday.
