Punch them in the face.....then body slam them...

The Patriots are about to meet one of the toughest and most physical teams in football tonight. The whole nation will see something they haven't seen in years..a Panthers team that intimidates and brings the hammer down.Lets run over them on offense anf bury their bodies on defense..let the carnage begin.

The defense should be doing all the heavy lifting in this game. Cam needs to be Alex Smith today. Short, accurate, high percentage passes. Manage the game, and don't turn it over.

I have 100% confidence in the defense being able to control the tempo and shut down the Pats O. We just can't afford to open the door for them with a bad turnover. Because unlike the 49ers, they will exploit it.

I think we need more than game manager Cam tonight, we could be in a position where points are needed fast, but we'll see.  We have to be careful about hits and penalties as we're going against the Patriots and Brady and also on the national spotlight.  Mitchell, be careful lol.

did someone just say cam needs to be alex smith because that's the opposite of a good analysis

I stand by it. Cam's numbers during our winning streak look an awful lot like an Alex Smith stat line.

Point being, the defense is going to do enough for us to win. The offense just needs to not fug up.

I disagree......It should be 50/50 The offense needs to score points and grind the clock out with the run game.

We are a more complete team than the Chiefs and we need to show the nation that we are good on both side of the ball.

Our run game is  a perfect compliment to our D and it should take us on a good run.

    • It’s wild to me that so many of you guys are threatened by the idea of an opposing team fan who is polite in 2025. He’s been posting here on and off for years, usually when our teams play each other which hasn’t been for a while. I’d maybe understand this treatment if it was a falcons or saints fan, but packers fans in general are one of the nicer fan bases as long as you aren’t another NFC north team (especially the bears).
    • Some players excel on the big stage, while others freeze and succumb to the pressure. I’m not convinced Cam took a dive. I think he didn’t handle the stage very well. The pressure got to him and he folded. He wouldn’t be the first quarterback or player to struggle in a Super Bowl. Two HOF examples - John Elway and Jim Kelly. The 2002 MVP, Rich Gannon, threw 5 interceptions against the Bucs. Poor performances happen.  Unless of course you believe all these players threw the games they played in, but if that occurred, surely someone by now would have admitted taking a dive? 🤷‍♂️
    • It was always a matter of time with Cam’s playing style and a shorter shelf life than passers that protect themselves. I suppose Cam could have still been playing in 2028 ten years after the hit took place, but he would need to have evolved as a quarterback and become more of a passer than the dual threat maestro he was. It’s sad because it makes us think of what could have been, but I do feel it was always a matter of time until all the hits took their toll.
