Hey I'm happy with his was hoping to bring in Talib as a FA next ur thought that might of been ruined by Mondays game. Just reviving the rivalry they had in Tampa no biggie. Just keep the cheap stuff out of it next time.

Not surprising that Talib and Smith aren't mortal enemies off the field. Hello, they're human beings in a chaotic spectator sport. For the most part, smack talk and scuffles are harmless. Once the game clock hits zero, they're members of society again.

Ex. Anyone seen a fighter talk to his opponent once the fight is over?

This is how it should be handled. If you asked Steve, he'd probably say the same thing. Nobody respects the game more than Steve. He respects everybody willing to get in his face and fuel him. But when you're between those lines, you're an animal. When you're done, you're done. Jenkins handled himself improperly but Talib is taking the high road and good for him. I still don't understand why people give Steve fuel to hurt them, but that's on them.

Steve Smith had four catches for 62 yards, including a 42-yarder with Talib in coverage. Talib could not finish the game. There is no doubting who won this Smith vs Talib battle.

If you think about it, the ice up son comment is a stab at respect. Considering what Steve said about Janoris and how those feelings were. Telling an injured player to ice up like an old timer talking to a young guy is all I see.
