Could we have 3 more primetime games this regular season?

if we're tied in the division with new orleans going into week 16 you bet your ass we'll be flexed.

this. it's a tight race between the two teams. i can easily see both games being flexed.

the problem i see with either one is competition.

week 14 will be either us against the saints or 49ers against the seahawks. i don't think that race will be as close, but seahawks are receiving a lot of hype and that game could help decide homefield advantage throughout the playoffs. of couse same could be said about ours.

week 16 might be tight between the colts and the chiefs. nowhere near the implications, but still a battle between two playoff teams.

i think that we stand a better chance of getting flexed week 16, tbh. although i think that saints/panthers is a whole lot more interesting week 14 as well.

nbc might see that flexing two matchups between saints/panthers might be a bit much and opt to go with another matchup one of those weeks. if i had to choose between 49ers/seahawks in week 14 or chiefs/colts week 16 i'd go with 49ers/seahawks.

whatever the choice is, tho, i'm just happy that we're in this situation and that we can be having these discussions at all and it be legit.

If I heard correctly on the radio that the Panthers/Jets game has a more realistic chance of being moved earlier because CBS has the single header for that day and may choose to show the highest rated game in that slot.  It may in fact be flexed but not in the way that we had hoped.

Won't be 49ers/Seahawks, Fox can protect one game and they protected that one.  It's us in the dump or Lions/Eagles.  Fingers crossed for Lions/Eagles even though I'm bracing for our game.

I think the game in the Dome is about as close of a lock to being flexed as possible.  I really can't see anyway that our game against New Orleans in the Dome isn't the SNF game.

The Jets game could potentially move up to the 1:00 spot and switch places with the Miami-New England game.  There aren't a lot of options for CBS to maximize it's ratings that week, so it may also very well stay in the same spot.

My bet is that NBC would keep the Ravens-Pats in the same spot.  The Ravens will be in he wild card race and the pats are the pats.  Arizona at Seattle could also be an intriguing matchup as well as Chicago-Philly.  IMO, we will not get flexed at home unless for some reason the week 14 game stays a 1:00.  Thsi game is also not likely to move to 4:00 due to CBS having the national game that week (next year it would be a possibility as the networks will be able to swap national spots).  Someone correct me if i'm wrong on this.

Week 17:  No Chance this game gets flexed.  Falcons are bad, and the NFC East race should come down to the last week  Dallas and Philly would be my bet to play in that primetime slot (with Green Bay-Chicago,  Baltimore-Cincy, NYJ-Mia, and San Fran-Arizona all as likely other candidates between possible playoff teams).

I hope not, I like early games and hate late ones.  I leave my house at 6am M-F and do not return home until 6pm so anything messing with my sleep is not to my liking.

I doubt they do more than one for the same opponents and I doubt they consider the Jets games at all.  Likely it will be Week 14 and someone else for Week 16 since the other options then are more appetizing than in 14.

That works for me.  11am is easily my favorite time slot.  Plus, with the Broncos playing early that week there is a chance it will be shown local meaning I can watch the game without having to spend half the game switching from one lagging stream to the other.
