Speaking of that play, have we even discussed how huge that play was?  Really a momentum killer for the Dolphins in what could have been a back-breaker type TD.

 

This Kuechly guy might have a future in this league.

I certainly agree that the general population of NFL fans will be quick to complain about anything he does but the general NFL fan population isn't very reasonable with their judgement.

Luke to the refs "that was not a hold and you will pick up that flag" . The ref to Luke "that was not a hold I will pick up the flag".

I don't think Luke necessarily got the benefit of the doubt on the play last week, or against the Patriots. Against the Pats, it wasn't a question of whether he committed a penalty. He did. The refs waved it off because the ball was uncatchable. That's independent of what Keek did. 

 

Last week, the flag never should have been thrown. It was a clean hit that looked worse than it was.

The Miami flag was so late...I was maddern hell. In a way, I think that flag was Luke being targeted or screwed. Late. Late.

I'm currently "discussing" this with a guy on fb... which official threw the flag on Keek vs. the Dolphins?  It wasn't the one that was literally 5' away and signaled incomplete was it?

I doubt that past plays will have any impact on the future in his case. he hits hard but he is not a dirty player and  doesnn't have a reputation of taking dirty or cheap shots.

With that said, I surely hope he is more careful in pass defense going forward.  Lester saved his butt by intercepting it and it still could have gone either way.  He is too good of  a defender that he can play straight up and still make plays.

after the NE call on MNF....you could of easily said the same thing headed into the Miami game.

 

I do think great players get the benefit of the doubt often.
