Extreme Bandwaggoning

I have no problem with new people jumping on the Panthers bandwagon.

It's the ones who jump from team to team on an annual basis who annoy me.

Exactly..I had a co-worker once that would chose the previous years Super Bowl winner as his favorite team to follow. I would get a real kick out of this person because he would say, "You know,i've always liked (insert teams name) for a long time". Now that was one fickle bandwaggoner. :)

My mom knows nothing about football but she loves her some cam newton so now she is a panther fan buying panther apparel I love it! First time I knew about it when she was talking about "that guy" who ran in for a td. I think it was 2011 when cam ran that long run for a td against Tampa lol

Sounds just like my mom. She wants me to get her a Newton jersey for Christmas lol

If anything a lot of the new fans are the most passionate. I'll take the Camwagon over a lot of the older fans who always keep expectations low and say the team sucks after a bad drive.

I would kill to be in a room full Panthers fans outside of BofA where everyone just supported the team without the constant "I guess the Panthers still suck hurrrdurrrr" crap.

I think there is some confusion here. There are people that hop on the bandwagon and then there are people that always loved the Panthers, they just aren't man enough to wear the colors when the team is a dumpster fire. Some people feel like not wearing the colors and not buying the tickets is a form of protest for poor performance. Some just don't want to get grief from their friends. We can't all be superfans.

    • I think in all honestly, the final 2 games are carrying most of the weight in a lot of Bryce talk IMO.    During the window where he "blew it out of the water" window......were a lot of games where he was not above average.  AZ is largely one of those stat sheet games.   Where the stat sheet reflects QB play that didn't exist in the game.  That game was all Chuba.  Meh vs Dallas.  Meh vs Philly.  Meh vs Giants.  Probably average vs Tampa, Den, Saints.  Bryce made HUGE strides vs what he was.  We should be happy.   But when you start comparing him to the rest of the league.....people I think are going too far.  His best aspect in reality.....is his scrambling.  And that's probably not a great thing give his size.
    • Mays and Zavala looked lost in the Reich offense.  Granted Zalava was probably playing too soon due to injuries but he looked terrible.  This new staff seems to be doing well with our OL.  I also wonder if having two vets in Hunt and Lewis just made life that much easier on whoever was/is playing center.
    • What the Panthers should target in order (via free agency or via trade): 1. Julian Blackmon  2. Mike Hilton 3. Jaire Alexander 4. Jalen Ramsey
