Same problem areas

Please explain how. It's easy to look at the hidden gems and criticize our decisions when we're losing but it is what is. We had glaring holes at the start of the season. We have them now.

Between free agency and the draft, yes it is possible.

But given that you also have to handle our own free agents, make some cuts and del with the remaining cap issues left over from the Hurney era, it most certainly won't be easy.

These guys should be immediate cuts: Stew, D-Will, Byron Bell, Captain Munnerlyn.

3 of our first 4 picks should be on offense.

Alfred Morris is getting paid pennies, but he has more yards than D-Will and Stew combined.

Capt has done his part but I dont expect DG to give him what he wants. The rest I agree with if it makes since cap wise.

Only 5 picks is no excuse for not addressing any of the issues.  It doesn't cost a bazillion dollars to address the issues either so the RB situation is not an excuse. We could've drafted one of the WRs that are balling now instead of wasting it on Kugbila. We could've signed o-linemen that could actually block instead of doing nothing. We could've brought in CBs that could cover someone instead of doing nothing.

Gettleman wasn't looking to improve the players this year. He was looking to improve our financial situation and use the year to evaluate the coaches. Still think he could've done both without sacrificing one or the other. Jury is still out on him until our weaknesses are at least addressed with some talent.

Capt has some moments but he should not be starting for any team in the NFL. He just doesn't have the awareness, ball skills, and size to be a #1 or # 2 corner.

    • Yeah lol well the interest isn’t really about seeking stimulation.  I wanted to see how actually bad it was.  And how much of it was women setting him up to be their cash cow.  That is the stuff that leveraged the Panthers into David Tepper’s hands. It is important in that sense.     The worst that I have heard is that he got them in the car and clumsily reached across to help them with their seat belt and made contact. With his arm. That was probably his big slick move. And I can almost guarantee he wasn’t rejected every time. It is easy to picture that action bringing his head close enough to the woman’s head to where he could go in for the kiss if he thought he got the green light.    I really don’t care if JR was a horn dog. We heard all our lives up until the last few years that one of the perks of being really old is that you can flirt with the young women and it is not just tolerated but expected. So he was keeping a tradition alive at some point 😂
    • Well I rubbed some dirt on it and am still here just not optimistic about the future of the QB position. Even what I had accepted as a ceiling raised to an acceptable level turned out to be a bit of a mirage, upon rewatch of the WC game.  Good plays were there yes, but some pretty bad ones too that the good ones late in the game kind of obscured. I have to downgrade that a little.  Especially after rewatching the last 4 plays. I remember the arguments about he did his job the WRs didn’t but that was really just that last muff by Coker I think it was on our final offensive play.   To the future: I know what my level is for paying him and recommitting, but I don’t have any confidence that the team shares my high bar.    But thanks for the pep talk
