I thought the punt was a mistake and the Saints would run out the clock ,however  Ron Riveva had faith in our defense to hold.  To my delight/dismay they met the challenge,then Cam and our offense followed suit. This goes to show why I am a fan and Ron Rivera is being hailed as possible coach of the year.

I thought it was a huge mistake and that Rivera had reverted back to his old way.

I will never second guess him again. He is making all the right calls.

I was helping the fiancé with prepping the house while the game was on. The call to punt was in and I figured we were done as I knew that this was a bad matchup game from the outset. My jaw hit the floor when I came back through the room to see a slow motion replay of hixon with his touchdown grab. Shortly followed by the mrs saying "told ya."

Every time she's watched this year, we've won.

After the game some friends told me they saw my wife and I on the screen after that 3rd down attempt and we both looked completely disgusted which was true, but she had more faith than I did and got me to get the hell out of it and get back to cheering like I was earlier - I was thinking more about what happened to all that fantastic rain.

I didn't think we'd get the ball back.  I thought NOLA would run it twice, then hit Graham for a first down to end it.  After the plays Graham made on their TD drive, I figured Payton would at least give him a shot to win the game for them.  But I was wrong (thankfully) and enjoyed one of the greatest endings in a significant game I've ever seen.  Good call by Ron to punt it.

I had lost all faith in my team and went outside to split some wood to blow off steam. I could not bear to watch the end. But I had recorded the game so I was able to watch the comeback later. Shame on me for giving up on the Panthers!

I was nervous but not upset. The offense was awful up to that point and was having another poor drive. Trust the defense that was playing lights out.

I was upset, but thought it was the right call.

 

Our offense stunk all game up to that point, and I was doubtful that we would get it back with enough time to score.  

 

I would have been livid if we were down by anymore than 3.
