if my rather quick google search was correct, luke was only 1 tackle short of the NFL single game record for tackles today. that guy dominated the field for 60 minutes and it was one of the most impressive line backing performances i can remember.

thats a really weird news story considering the record is 25, and luke had 24 tackles.

Congrats to Luke.  Our humble warrior.  TD's game wasn't too shabby either.  Best linebacker combo in the NFL.

I thought the record was solely held by Dan Morgan. I didn't know that Brian Urlacher was a co-holder to the record too.

Record in a reglar season game is Urlacher. Post season is Morgan.

The NFL credits Morgan with 18 tackles in the Super Bowl.

Luke was nothing short of amazing.  DAVIS too.   What a performance by the defense.

Yes. We have to actually wait on this record about a week. Our team will count tackles the NFL wont count and the NFL might even actually knock some off or add some on in a few days.
