So... Niners or Packers?

I think the Pack's D is a lot more vulnerable. Which is what our offense needs. Problem is, they have possibly the best QB in football (outside of Cam, of course lol).

The Niners on the other hand, are a gritty, rugged, made-to-go-on-the-road-and-win type of team. I also dont like the idea of playing them again because I dont know who would have the advantage with making adjustments the second go around between our coaching staffs.

It's a tough call, but I just think the Packers have more flaws to exploit.

My thoughts exactly. A stout D against our offense scares me. But I feel like our D can compete with anyone. But like you said, the drawback is "only" Aaron Rodgers", who is the best in the business and scares the hell out of me.

I was hoping the Packers and the sub-zero weather would knock SF out of the running but as it was pointed out in another thread.  SF is a running team and that type of weather is a running teams advantage.   So while I think the Panthers offense would fair better again the Packers defense I have been convinced we will face San Francisco here.

San Francisco is our bitch.  We own our head to head record going back to the old NFC West days.   They will be coming to our house.  I believe Cam, Hardy and the rest of the team will have the crowd very much involved.

I think our defense is playing better then we did in San Fran a couple of months ago but the SF offense is playing better too.

What bothers me is it is difficult to beat the same team twice in this league especially the caliber of SF.  Shula is going to have to have his best game plan.  And we cannot have hiccups in execution like we did against Atlanta and NYJ.

The bye saves us as we get our roster as healthy as it has been all season.  Won't predict the score but we'll win
