Payton is the king of outsmarting himself. Tries too hard to make the Sportscenter Top 10. Had to be a called play

I would like the play (in theory anyway...the execution was horrible) if they were 70 yds or more away from the end zone. Everyone expects the laterals on the last play but it just might work with 15-20 seconds left. Wasn't needed when they could easily throw it to the end zone. On another note, Pete Carroll is not gonna run the ball to run the clock out. Did the same thing to the panthers in week 1 iirc. If we play them again, the coaches better know that.
